not any more.. John bowled a lot... top sanctioned game 299.... :) stuck the 4 pin... last time i tried to bowl my foot stuck and i hit hit the floor not once but twice... i have never even tried again.. my average about 155... his 196

Lol, hopefully you and the good Lord will forgive me for laughing at that. :lol I never said that I was actually good at it. I just like to out of pure enjoyment. As I said before, it doesn't matter if you win or lose it's how you play the game in my mind. Having fun and having a good time is the only thing that really matters. :biggrin I take it that John must be your husband then.

Rather then bowl i heading out to the sand dunes in the desert on the quad jumping and spinning donuts... :) but that too is from a time gone by ...

That's another thing...I really can't picture you doing that on a quad. Wow, that is really cool! I don't suppose that you can show us a video. Hehe, I know it's weird but I'm rather obsessed with that kind of stuff. BMX, Monster trucks, you name it. I'm a regular old tomboy. :biggrin See guys a seventy year something old woman can still be cool. :cool By the way Reba, we need your help in the Feminism thread that I started. Apparently there are some people on here that have this prehistoric idea that just because we're ladies we always need to depend on a man to do everything for us and I need you to set them straight for me. Don't take this the wrong way, I'm not meaning this as a rant or a complaint I just need some of your girl power.

I can't believe that with all of the talk that I've been doing about baseball, canoeing, fishing, bowling, BMX, Monster Trucks, and even Quads that I totally forgot about what I used to love doing back when I was a girl. Man,..I sure do miss it. (I never did anything quite as extravagant as this though)

 
I'm a huge sports fan. I like college sports (SEC baseball in particular) and boxing. But I also pay attention to pro baseball too.
 
We were at Candlestick .. i dont remember the year , it was back when Willie McCovey was playing.. I loved to watch him play seems ya couldn't over throw first, Stretch woudl find it... Knock the ball out to the buses ... Someplace behind a couple rows i guess .. Some mouth was hacking at Willie.. over and over... not about a bad play not even about baseball.... Go home Willie you cant read you are illiterate dumb etc.. After a few innings I could not take any more.. I stood up turned around and shouted ..If you are so smart and he is so dumb he did not pay to watch you you paid.. ... My husband was sure he would have to fight someone.. thankfully the jerk shut up ... I cant even remember the outcome of the game..

i used to take my nephews to watch the giants at candlestick, watch Barry bounds sneer and glare at the fans
 
Alright Cleveland Indians fans! I do believe that tonight is the first night that they play for the season! Go Tribe!!! :woot
 
Since I cannot post this in the news thread any longer, I can continue posting my Cleveland Indians updates here and they are doing really rather well right now. For they are currently on another winning streak as they beat the Baltimore Orioles again last night two to one, which isn't a major victory I'll admit, but they still won just the same so way to go for them! :woot

Hey, what about the NHL!

My favorite is college wrestling! Here is a video of my son wrestling nationals in Ohio several years ago. My son is the one in maroon. He won!

Well, I can't watch it until I get on my laptop again which will be in a few minutes, but a huge congratulations to your son! Well done! :thumbsup I only follow baseball, Nascar, BMX, and Monster trucks though I'm afraid. And yes, girls can like those things too. I remember the first time that I saw a BMX show was when it was performed at my middle school. It was awesome!!!
 
I just watched the video, I take it that that was your voice in the background. Your son did a great job! :thumbsup I'll watch these videos later, I haven't watched them yet, I'm only posting them now before I go out for my first bike ride of the year. :) By the way, it will be pretty cool to watch the women bikers.
