Before you start, please come with a better argument than the yankees have too much money. The franchise with the most fans would naturally have the most money.
 
I love my Yankees, but unfortunately, they have not been playing too well for the past few years. :sad
 
Hey now, just because we haven't won the World Series everyone says they haven't been playing well...That's a crock. Any other teams fans would kill to have the run of playoff appearances we've had...Now this year...this year may be considered a bad year.
 
The Yankees have just swept the Oakland Atheletics in a 3 game series. They are only 4.5 games out of first in the AL East.

I am a NL Cardinals Fan. I have been since I was a child...even worked at the ball stadium for a few years in high school. I know St. Louis is small, but we are a baseball town and we support our team. Not the most fans, but the best ! :wink: I'm not sure what their standings are right now, and since a couple of years ago I don't track them as closely...I get too competitive and really have been convicted about it. But, I still do love them from afar. I hope your Yankees do well, unless they come up against the Cards in a World Series...then, I'm out as far as that goes. :-D
 
I can understand that the other teams have their fans. They need to play my Yankees. I just love talking about the wonderful baseball team in the Bronx. Speaking of which, they go for a sweep of the Twins tonight! Go Yankees!
 
The Yankees have finally snapped their latest losing streak with a 9-6 win over the Twins. However, we are still sitting 9 games behind the Tampa Bay Rays. The Play-off picture doesn't look too great.
 
It's a tough year for the Yankee's fan as we had to yet again watch the Yanks get beat up by Toronto. We aren't out just yet though.

My poor Yankees :sad

I can't wait until they find good pitchers so they can be on top again...
 
Finally another Yankees fan to talk with. We do have a new pitcher from Mexico making his debut for the bombers tonight. maybe he'll give us some hope for next year.
 
We were saying the same thing about Moose last year and look what we've gotten from him this year. 17-8 with a ERA around 3.50. I say we keep up the one year deals until it's clear Pettitte's tank is empty. As mediocre as he's been, he's our second best starter.

His ERA this year is only about 1/2 a run better than it's been for the majority of his career. His wins might be a bit better if we could get any ounce of consistency from our offense.

For real?? I'll have to google that! I had no idea!Sweet.

And I still blame A-Rod for all their misfortune
 
Any combination of 3 Yankees loses or three Red Sox wins puts the Yankees out of the post season this year. It would be some feat if the Yankees still made the playoffs.
