Let's Talk Yankees

The Yanks are finally showing signs of life!

Yup, they swept the Tigers last weekend. Not a hard thing to do when the Tigers have been playing poorly. ;)

But I give them credit for getting some runs off of two of our best pitchers, Verlander and Jackson.

We are just a few weeks away from Baseball's mid-season milestone, the Allstar Game, which will be played in Anahiem. As we move closer to the second half of the season, the New York Yankees are set up well with the best record in baseball even with some shaky ground in their pitching and hitting.

Who might appear for the Yankees at the All-Star game?

Start a Phillies thread. :D

Great idea!
LOL. when I posted that, I was not aware you already started one. :D You know this is all in fun. Including all sports, New York and Philly have a history.

Psst... I once went to a Eagles-Cowboys game, rooted for the Cowboys... and feared for my life! I need the Cowboys to win, to help out the Giants. :lol

Hey Vic, have you ever traveled upstate for a game in Buffalo? My friend and I have season tix for the Lions. (Don't laugh! It could happen!) We hit the road for a game each year, and we have tix for the Buffalo game on Nov. 14th. I wonder how they treat visiting fans. We don't get obnoxious the way some visitors do, inviting trouble. We see that all the time at Ford Field. Chicago had some crazies. Green Bay was like Mayville. I don't know why anyone would hate on Lions fans anyway. They should roll out the red carpet for us and pencil in a W!
