Life after death

Yes, as this physical body will die and return to the dust of the ground (grave) as flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God, 1Corinthians 15:50-58, but those who have died being in Christ will be resurrected in new glorious bodies to have eternal life with the Father. God breathed life into us, Genesis 2:7, and when this flesh body dies that spirit of life that was breathed in us will be the only thing that will go back to God, Ecclesiastics 12:7. This fleshly body will return to the dust of the ground from where it came from until those who have died that are in Christ are resurrected to meet Jesus in the clouds if we are Spiritually reborn again, John 3:1-6; 1Corinthians 15:52; 1Thessalonians 4:13-18, or those who rejected God are resurrected to stand in Gods judgment, Rev 20:11-15. According to John 3:13 no one has ever ascended into heaven other than Christ as we all sleep until the coming of the Lord. Nowhere in the Bible does it state what we will actually look like except that we will be conformed to His glorious body, Philippians 3:21; 1Corinthians 15:43; 1John 3:2.
This is what Jehovah's Witnesses believe.
Are you a Jehovah's Witness?

No I am not a JW. What is it you question in what I posted? Did you study the scriptures given? This has nothing to do with soul sleep if that was your thought.

Rollo, Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that a person is the soul the Bible speaks of, and when a person dies nothing lives on, the person is dead and is conscious of nothing. When the time comes for God to resurrect them from the dead He will create a new body for them from His memory.

Does this sound like anything I said?

I thought so.

Can you show me the comparison if this sounds like JW teaching to you?

I'm done debating trivial stuff.

Rollo I,m sorry you feel this way as I meant no disrespect to you or wanted to argue with you. I just wanted to know what I said sounded like something a JW would teach as I don't feel it was trivial to ask you to explain what you meant. But so be it and I will move on. God bless you and yours.
