alright- i know y'all are confused and scared- you aren't sure about how to "stop your sins." you beat yourselves up over issues such as masturbation, lust, premarital sex, drugs, movies w/ boobies, and trying to have a "good time" on the weekends without getting "grounded" or worry about going to Hell... well- here's the deal:
The Father sent the Son to be sacrificed. So, basically, God sacrificed Himself to Himself. That's how much He loves us. Maybe you're not quite hip to why exactly The Son came to Earth and died- so i'll tell you. here's why: The rules! The rules of the O.T. The rules that kept the Jews separated from the rest of the world. the rules that kept God's children separated from Him.
So the Son died... thus negating EVERY and ALL sin! nothing is unforgiven... you are forgiven of your sin before you even do it! you're only job now is to Love. That's The Son's only rule... love. when you do this in Christ and you get closer to God, you won't sin. (or at least nearly as much).
but, you're children... for the most part, adolescence. you are raging hormones. God made you this way- don't deny it. i'm not saying to go out there and mate like bunnies- i'm saying, if you see a member of the opposite sex, and you find them attractive... good job, you're human! you've done what you're body and DNA was designed to do! same for masturbating- i'm not saying to run out and pick up a Hustler or anything- i'm saying, if you rub one out... don't beat yourself up.
The closer you get to God, the further from sin you'll be. so- don't fret. the only consequence a sin has on you is in your life. They're sins for a reason- to keep you in check, so your life doesn't get all screwy. you'll see as you grow.
