Hello, please pray for me I feel so lonely and scared. I'm struggling with some bad memories and guilt of sins I did wrong a long time ago and I am afraid I will repeat them again. Thank you

One thing that helped me in my fight against repeating sin, is seeing how sin is like ponding nails into someone who desperately loved me.
I hope and pray that you can see the truth of that.

You might be mocked by members in the congrgation for believing Pauls' words to us. You might be told you'll always commit sin, but our Father says otherwise and will hear you in every struggle.

Hi Kathy, we all sin maam, I gather you were referring to serious sins, if that is true when you did them do you feel that you chose to do them? I have committed some serious sins, but I realize that I didn't have to, later discovering something the Bible says about God that might help you maam: (1 Corinthians 10:13) 13 No temptation has come upon you except what is common to men. But God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out so that you may be able to endure it.

All Christians have some kind of thorn in their flesh that they must fight to overcome. God always makes the way out for us so that we do not have to commit a serious sin, which most of the time simply involves walking away. Like you I am plagued by some of the sins I have committed in the past, but we cannot correct those, but do learn from them. The hurt that I have caused to others, has moved me to be extraordinarily loving to all living things. I even take most bugs outside the house, rather than kill them.

At any rate hang in there, you have many people who love you, and would be there for you if they could be and knew what you were struggling with. Always feel free to send me a message if you feel I could help in your struggles Kathy. Bob
