Looking Ahead in a Divided Country

When you're discussing the division in the country, you have to address the politics surrounding it. And the division of the country is the topic.

Your statement reveals an unrealistic tunnel vision.

No matter what the discussion, I come to it as a Christian. I can discuss any topic though the church may not be the center of it. But I do so as a Christian.

Hang on to that thought though. Because I will lay it at your feet again.

I agree.
I just wanted our Christianity to get back into the picture.

I agree.
I just wanted our Christianity to get back into the picture.

It should always be there even in our politics.

If you check out the Mayflower Compact it reads, "Having undertaken, for the glory of God, and advancement of the Christian faith...."

At the end of the Articles of Confederation it states 'in the year of our Lord'.

At the end of the Constitution of 1787, which we are under now, it reads also, 'in the year of our Lord'.

That is our Lord Jesus Christ. The God of the Bible and no other.

If we can't get that back in the country, which I don't see how it is possible now, the country is gone. But we should at least know and remember, that was what it was. Christian.
