Anyone who determines to obey God is special. That is not beyond anyone and we will be judged on that basis.

Can you please supply the verse where he is called "precious?" Thanks.

Do you mean "And he said, “O man greatly beloved, fear not! Peace be to you; be strong, yes, be strong!”" The Hebrew word means "beauty" or here "greatly beloved." This is different than precious. Even Jesus was not called "precious" but his son in whom He was well pleased.

That is not “precious.” “To take pleasure in” is a different meaning. He takes pleasure inDaniel because of his behavior and choices. “Precious” is unrelated to behavior.

If you are speaking to this current generation then you must mean , PARENT ?
Not sure of the statistics in France but in the USA we are about 15 years beyond the point where the majority of children are being raised by one individual.
At that trend has only increased.
And increasingly that one individual of account is not even involved biologically in the birth of the child, a grandparent or some other relative often being left the responsibility of the child while the parent carries on with the party everyday , rock and roll all night lifestyle.
This is why abortion is considered so vitally important to this current generation .
Sacrificing the child upon the altar of the party all night, rock and roll everyday god being seen as a viable final solution.

- It seems that Daniel is more reactive than his companions!

- Because he asks the officer of the king!

- Then he goes to the king and asks him to grant him time!

- And he finally informs his companions of the situation!

- He is a man of order and well organized!

- Thus we can imagine he is really efficient in his job!

- It is quite from today’s way of doing things!
