Looking for Job

Looking for Job

Job 13:1,2

- Job knows himself!

- He knows he is faithful to God!

- He's not a young boy anymore!

- He is wise!

- God says so!

- His words show it!

-And he will continue to fight!

- Job has a fighting spirit!

- And his loyalty is the source!

- May we follow his example and let him strengthen us!

- And constantly develop our knowledge of the Bible to know Yah.weh better and prepare ourselves for the new world!

- We must develop the right condition of heart to be accepted!

- We must constantly keep in mind what awaits the faithful servants of Yah.weh so as not to remain at the gates like the unfaithful Hebrews!

- Each time the majority was not worthy of entry!

- We must learn the true value of things to make the right choice!

- This only concerns us, not others!

- Others can help us, encourage us!

- Lot and his daughters were saved, Lot's wife was transformed into a pillar of salt!

- May we always have this image etched in our memory!

Looking for Job

Job 13:3

- Job's only reference is Yah.weh!

- So he wants to defend himself before Yah.weh!

- He thinks that Yah.weh is responsible for his situation!

- He doesn't understand what he did wrong!

- Actually, he didn't do anything wrong!

- On the contrary, he is attacked because of his loyalty to Yah.weh!

- The verb desire shows a strong will on his part!

- When we read and study this chapter, we find nothing about his pain and suffering!

- Job is combative!

- He wants to speak with God, he wants to reason with him!

- He wants to defend himself before Yah.weh!

- Job never gives up!

- Nothing and no one can make him change course!

- He has an indestructible strength of character!

- May we develop such strength of character that allows us to always stay the course in the storm that awaits us!

Looking for Job

Job 13:4,5

- According to Job, they lie!

- When you lie, it is not a positive act but a negative one which consists of hurting someone!

- This is not the right way to help someone who is mentally and physically injured!

- On the contrary!

- He tells them to shut up!

- This does not come from Yah.weh but from the devil!

- The last words of Yah.weh at the end of the Book of Job are clear!

- They are good for nothing!

- Or rather they force Job to find the inner strength to continue fighting!

- May we learn from Job and cultivate this inner strength!

- May we ask Yah.weh to make us ever stronger in adversity!

Looking for Job

Job 13:6

- Despite what they say, Job keeps asking them to listen to him!

- What's the point?

- They don't want to listen to him!

- But no, Job continues to ask them!

- This again shows his strong will!

- It takes a lot before he stops!

- But we remember that he will finally stop talking to them!

- Because he wants to speak with Yah.weh!

- He thinks he's the only one who can understand it!

- It's something!

- Job knows how to adapt his response depending on the situation!

- He speaks when it is necessary to speak!

- He is silent when he should be silent!

- He's indestructible!

- He's tenacious!

- He never gives up!

- There is really no one like him on earth!

Looking for Job

Job 13:7-9

- Job tells them to tell the truth, not to lie!

- God knows what they are doing!

- He warns them and he is right because God has condemned them!

- But they don't care!

- They continue to act the same way!

- They definitely speak for the devil!

- Think of the religious leaders!

- We can deceive men, we cannot deceive Yah.weh!

- There are only two paths: life or death!

- Either we work for life or we work for death!

- But in any case, we work!

- When we do nothing, we work for death!

- It’s very simple to understand!

- To be passive is to work for death!

- It has always been like this!

- The Bible is clear on this!

Looking for Job

Job 13:10,11

- It is premonitory!

- Job knows God well!

- It tells about his special relationship with him!

- But they don’t care!

- Pride!

- Self-satisfaction!

- They are not afraid!

- They can be lucky that God put their destiny in Job’s hands!

- He could have struck them more severely!

- The religious leaders act the same way!

- The Hebrews acted the same way!

- Mankind has always acted the same way!

- They have always paid the price!

- But it is nothing compared to what is coming!

- And no one will save them this time!

Looking for Job

Job 13:12,13

- Job is clear: they are wrong!

- And God will say he is right and they are wrong!

- They will be condemned and he will be rewarded for his continuous faithfulness!

- They should keep silent!

- But the devil is pushing them continuously!

- And think about the fourth individual who is going to speak later!

- When we listen to God’s words, he doesn’t exist!

- He ignores him!

- Isn’t it worse than being condemned?

- It shows the importance of listening to people!

- It shows the importance of analyzing the facts before speaking!

- When we speak too fast, we close doors!

- Thus how do we want people to keep listening to us?

- It doesn’t matter we live in a time of deep ignorance and fakes!

- Superficiality is the rule!

- Completely the opposite of Yah.weh’s acting!

- How do we want to look like Yah.weh if we look for superficiality?

- How do we want to develop a strong relationship with Yah.weh if we look for superficiality?
