M-4 versus AK-47

Whats your favorite, the m-4 or 47, the 47 is obivously a better weapon, :) can shoot just about anykind of bullet, works while wet, and can be used underwater, while the m4 is usually cheaper and a cop gun, and can jam like crazy, whats your favorite, and why? :eyebrow

the ak-47 is less acurate then the m-16 series and m-4. Marines can and must shoot targets at 500m
I like the m-16 a1 fully auto.
 
I really like my Heritage firearms single-action .22 revolver for two reasons. You can always find ammo for them and the ammo's cheap.
 
The only good thing the AK has is the ability to spray and pray. Without full auto the AK doesn't compare, M-16 type weapons beat it all around.

Personally I would go with a Mini-14, with a modified barrel so it is as accurate as the M-16. In that way you can shoot steel cased ammo with reliability and have a gun that doesn't jam when wet or dirty. I shoot 75 grain Wolf ammo (steel cased) out of my Mini GB model all day long with no problems other than a little oil every few hundred rounds. Love that gun.

I like the M4. The Ak's stock is too small, it's ugly, not accurate, and the prices are jacked up on them. :)

AR = Armalite Rifle. They invented it.

AK = Avtomat Kalashnikova

That is the dodac number, you are aware of that.

Most people assume it stands for 'model' , but you're right.
 
I'd take the RA XCR over both the M-4 and AK-47. The XCR combines the pros of both those rifles into one wicked package. That and we can buy them on the civilian market here in Canada. :thumb
