Thanks for that clarification, MD. I watched a video from a trans person who converted from female to male. She/he looked very much like a male. There was no ambiguity. She/he explained that real body dysmorphia is a debilitating mental condition where you do not want there to be any ambiguity. You either want to look completely male or completely female, such that there is no confusion with appearance or pronouns, and if you don't look, think, and act completely the way you desire to be, then there is always a feeling of discomfort.
How different to so much of the so-called trans community today, where it seems like ambiguity and confusion is the whole point. You get people who quite deliberately adopt both male and female appearance and then get offended if you use the wrong pronoun, almost like they are just hoping to be misunderstood so that they can genuinely feel a reason to be offended.
