So glad the migraines are over and they are seeing the doctor. As for cost of medical services don't even start me on that. Hope they can still afford it or find a better doctor which is extremely difficult these days especially if you are of older age. Hope all works out for them.thanks, y'all!
mama's doing quite well, now. it sounds like it was allergies+a tendency towards (severe) migraine that = all this fun (note the sarcasm). today, she was all sortsa chipper, just itchy...again: allergies. :-(
thanks for the prayers. I -am- thankful. I'm also thankful that they're -both- seeing their family doctor on a regular basis, and he and the nurse practitioner are taking good care of them...their labs are good...their health is good. Praise God for His mercy!
on the downside...their family doctor is going into something called 'concierge medicine.' its where each person/patient pay$ a fee to be a patient, they get a set number of appointments per year, and then I guess (hope?) they get more 1 on 1 time with the doctor. ugh. thing is...this area has a doctor shortage (all types), and this is the...I think 3rd or 4th family practice MD to do this 'concierge' thing. blah. dad's miffed...the fee is a bit much (way more than their co-pays would be, on insurance) and...what the...??? Obviously, doctors need their pay, but c'mon...non-rich people need healthcare, too. blah. :-(
ok. thanks, again.
