hi. my mother has cyst that requires removal or...whatever surgical stuff they do. I don't know much about it. Its on May 10th, and it'll be in a specialized, outpatient clinic. Its a higher risk procedure because the area is close to an artery. Makes me --nervous--, of course, but my parents seem to be taking it in stride. I imagine if it was super high risk, she'd be operated on in-patient...right?
I offered to go with my parents to the clinic, but my mother said my dad would be there and that was enough. Verna says it might be better for me to try to get to go with them later, as the date of the operation approaches. I dunno. I don't want my mom to feel uncomfortable. At any rate, since I live at home, I'll be here when my dad isn't to help her along the road to recovery.
Please pray that the procedure goes well and that anything that comes up can be handled quickly and safely. I should probably Google on this, but a part of me just wants to not think too much about it, honestly.
Thank you for your prayers and support.
