McGregor vs. Mayweather PPV fight tonight _ Anyone watching?

SHOWTIME

It's $100.00 in my area. I'll wait for someone to put it on YouTube moments after Connor knocks Floyd out. :thumbsup

Anyone else watching this fight?

I'm with you Angel; I'll save my money and watch the reruns, except I do not think McGregor can handle the speed of Mayweather. Just cross my palm with the cash when you lose this contention. :wave

We will see.

Connor McGregor started his fighting career as a boxer. Seven years! :biggrin2 He's got a left that fighters who have felt it say feels like getting hit by a truck. And remember, Mayweather is much shorter than 5'11" McGregor. Which means Connor has more reach. And Connor is heavier after last nights weigh-in. Which means he can absorb punches better.

I bet a happy grin that Connor fulfills his prophecy. Twenty+ years older Mayweather goes down inside of 4 rounds. My ideal is out in 90 seconds. But I can be patient and wait till inside of 4. :shades

This is the left hook I was talking about. This victory gave McGregor his first title. He later bucked up on weight and took a second title so as to make UFC/MMA history. Two titles , two different weight classes. One fighter. I think Floyd is in for a surprise. But at $100 million to each fighter, no one goes home a loser.

A matter of perspective. I don't think Mayweather's face and jaw believe it was easy work. Conor McGregor went 10 rounds with a 49 fight unbeaten former champ. There was nothing easy about reaching 50 in Las Vegas Nevada. They're both champions. And they proved it last night.

There's a server issue that says my posts are too long. That's odd.

If I am not mistaken, posts are limited to a 10000 'character' limit. Which means, any spaces/periods/special letters/etc are all added up.

Is there a specific amount that you can see, but cannot go over? Might try copy/paste your post into Microsoft word or something that counts characters and see what it says the amount is.

Thanks. I will do that.

Edit/ I copied my post 5 and 7 , which I had to split after getting the notification of too long a post, and the total characters with the image URL added is 161. Would maybe total to be 163 characters with the toolbar's two smileys that I added in that post 5.

I don't tweet, but isn't twitter limited to so many characters? Are you logging in with a twitter account?

I also caught this fight on YouTube the next day, skipping all of the waiting between rounds. And it was free. Heck, NO WAY would I pay $100 for pay per view, but it was a fun fight to watch. So much entrigue from the day it was announced.

Mcgregor did an honorable job for competing in someone else's game. I'm really surprised he lasted as long as he did!
