Not long ago a couple did a teaching on David's Prayer of Deliverance. I don't know the verse(s). The summary is that King David (KD) faced more powerful enemies and had to ask God to fight for him. Based on these prayers made by KD the couple concluded that christians should at times adopt such praying habit: with the claim that in the spiritual real there are enemies stronger than christians.So I was wondering, If we already have God in us and the power of God, is it also possible that stronger enemies can really attack us???:dunnoIs this kind of prayer right. Never heard such a teaching before.
 
The only enemy that can come against us is Satan using others to attack us, but by Gods grace which gives us His power and authority in our life all we need is to rebuke the enemy in the name of Jesus and they have to flee. God is bigger than anything that can come against us.

Ephesians 2:11-17

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
