Because the apostles didnt teach it .
No apostle taught a temporal kingdom for Jesus Christ.
The scriptures teach it, both Old and New Testament.

What do you mean, 'again'? I don't get your comment. It makes no sense.
Well I keep asking you to show from scripture where the apostles taught a temporal kingdom for Jesus .The scriptures teach it, both Old and New Testament.
Sorry, but the passage discusses war among men which would cease. The war in question is not a war between nations, but an INTENTION of a war of the nations aligned together, led by Satan to defeat Jesus, the King.
WE call them dispensations for our own understanding. God just enacts them. If you don't like it, no problem, but you cannot castigate people who enjoy the order in dispensations.
Shilo...
I post the chapter and verse so the context is there. To keep most Scripture in total context we would be posting the whole Bible.
Found the signature 'button', and stated the position.
There is no lesser or better. The Earthly throne is a place promised to him, which He shall possess at the right time
Its your comment Allie own it and what it means
Who is making such a comparison? Jesus isn't.
There is a time allotted---1000 years---which commences at the Second Coming of Christ, where Jesus establishes His throne in Jerusalem. God's plan.
I dont care waht name you give them I asked you to show from scripture where Jesus and/or the apostles define and delineate them .
I am and you did too.
You keep saying that whith out any confirming apostolic support, certainly you can find some right?
Show me where the apostles teach a temporal kingdom for Jesus Christ.
I am and you did too.
Nothing is better or worseFalse. You are suggesting that the Millennial Reign of Christ from Jerusalem is being touted as better than His place of rulership now. Nothing is better or worse. He is always glorious and enthroned. The venue merely changes.
Right now He is building his Church, and THEN, He will be wedded to His Bride and will return with Her, ready to share His Kingdom with Her.
Nothing is better or worse
That is your statement, and it means that Christ on earth for 1,000 with sin and death all around is no worse that his current heavenly abode. No better iether.
And sin and death.Yes, nothing is better or worse than Jesus on His throne. No one is comparing or judging according to His comfort, or whatever you are judging for. It is part of what will be. Jesus will sit upon David's literal throne, presiding over the nations with a rod of iron, and setting in peace for a thousand years.
My the 'sum of scripture' just got a lot smallerYou need to accept the full volume of scripture about this. The Jews diodn't understand the Millennial Kingdom---they were looking for an immeduate one, with Jesus as political king.
Jesus reveals to John in His revelation about this, and it suffices.
And sin and death.
Im getting the impression that you have never been called to support your position form scripture.
And you cannot do it, for the scriptures all point to Jesus taking His rightful throne over the nations---in Jerusalem.
On the contray Allie I can quote from all over the NT regarding the Kingdom of God ,Kingdom of Heaven Kingdom of Christ and the Kingdom of His dear Son and rely on the apostolic definition of what that kingdom is;
Romans 14:17
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit,
Chapter and verse please.I agree with all those mentions of the spiritual kingdom we are citizens of, but there comes a point where godly discernment will teach you there is another age wherein Jesus will receive His earthly throne. That is called the Millennium. Choose to reject it, if you will, but the children of God worldwide are looking forward to reigning with Christ in that day.
What the children of God await is resurrection and the eternal state, this is what all creation waits for.I agree with all those mentions of the spiritual kingdom we are citizens of, but there comes a point where godly discernment will teach you there is another age wherein Jesus will receive His earthly throne.
