We live in a perverse generation, a time where people have shut the Mighty God of Israel, our Father out of any thought in their own lives. It's going to take more than just preaching the Word to get these folks attention. It's going to take a combination of the Love of the Lord Jesus, and His ability, Plus preaching the Word. A lot of the Church body today is trying to get people saved with one hand tied behind their backs. They preach the Love of Jesus to people concerning salvation, but unlike the early church, there is no help from Jesus to these people to make things right in their life.

Now I am not trying to come off as someone who is practicing what I am preaching. In fact, the last several years I have been just content going to Church and learning. The Lord though has gotten my attention, and Chastisement is not pleasant, but better than the outcome if you don't accept correction. I have no excuse, I know more and had been given more, but not using it. The good news is you can grow in the More, and get even more, but you have to start believing, and get knowledge of the Love of God.

The power of God, reaches people that could not be reached with just Words. Even those that reject, will still believe, but to their own hurt.

Religious leaders believed, but that did not seem to help them.
Act 4:14 And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.
Act 4:18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.

Peter healing the man at Gate beautiful brought a whole bunch of trouble. For one, Not even people with a hard heart could deny the man was not healed. For others it brought hope, because this Jesus they preached was real.

Being threatened, the Apostles prayed.
And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
(Act 4:29-33)

There were two parts to this witness of the Lord Jesus. Speaking the Word in boldness, and signs and wonders. They both have to be working together to be a effective witness.

I have seen folks just call on the Holy Spirit and wanting to jump into the healing and miracles. No Word, just a wanting for God to move and heal.
I have seen folks just preach the Word, and no power to back what they preached.

Folks, it ought not to be. We need to speak boldly the Word, and step out to the sick, and those that need things from God. The Lord will Confirm that, what we say is true, by performing his Word around us.

What we preach, needs to meet people's needs with the truth of the Gospel and demonstration of power.
And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
(1Co 2:4-5)

Most of us just trying to talk people out of Hell and into accepting the Lord Jesus by presenting arguments that Jesus is a better way to go. That is only going to be effective with a few people. A demonstration of the power of the Spoken Word will get everyone's attention.


One example in my life:
I was working in a Kitchen, and we had a pan steamer that boiled veggies in big flat pans. I had about 4 people around me and as I was trying to get the top pan out it caught something and boiling water went all over my arm. The whole arm.

Next thing I know, I have folks scrambling to get me to a sink, it was not the first burn they have seen from these steam pans. One person was say I could go into shock, and I have all these people grabbing on me telling me what to do. They saw the boiling water and green beans go over my whole arm.

I had to yell, stop guys, watch. I said, "In the name of Jesus devil, you can't burn me, I don't accept any burns."

I then held out my arm and told everyone to look. It was red slightly but no burns, no skin peeling off, and I said, "This is the Jesus I tell you guys about."

Now the questions start coming in, the Lord has everyone's attention. I can't honestly remember anyone getting saved that day, but I had a couple Wicca folks there who just questioned me all day about the Lord. Others would come by and said if I not seen it, I would not have believed it.

Now, I would rather the Lord help someone in a awesome way instead of dumping boiling water on myself. In fact at first it was extremely painful, so not my preferred method of showing the love and goodness of God. The effect was the same though, the spoken word was backed by the Lord with me.

Weight Loss: (last night)
Now, I was just browsing youtube and ran across this.

I need to loose weight, and thought why not. I always thought being overweight was just disobedience and you deserve what you get. My thinking on it was wrong. So I weighed myself a few times to get an accurate weight, then I just did what Thomas did in the video.

I have a witness, 5 pounds gone in just minutes. It's not so much the Miracle that got my attention, but the Love of God and our belief on his Love. Just how good is God?

It's not really about learning all the healing scriptures (though it would not hurt) it's about your understanding of God's Love, and does God love people enough to help them loose weight, heal them, and set them free?

It's your knowledge of this Love that will cause you to reach out to people, and say, "My God wants you free, be healed in the name of Jesus, Satan!!! Let them go now!!!"

Edit: 7 pounds now this morning. I do have a witness and triple weigh to make sure.

Bless you Michael. Weight loss is a pain in the gut. Right now in 2 weeks without hard work, 13 pounds. Thomas Fischer just stumbling on his videos and just being glued to them as that is How I like to minister had learned from the Lord that Weight Loss is something the Lord really would like to help with.

Let me tell you, Weight gain is not because your lazy, and want to be heavy. It's a form of an attack of the devil, there is a spirit involved to enforce you being heavy so that you can be destroyed. I don't need to tell you what being over weight can bring.

Michael, I will pray, but I pray that you see the truth, and it will make you free, and you get control of this. Please watch this video.

God not only multiplies the money we give to the kingdom, the loaves and fishes he multiplied, but come to find out that if we put our faith in God He will multiply our efforts as if they were great amounts.
This is new to Thomas Fischer, but being over weight is a bondage. You need grace and power to eat the right things, to keep with a plan and God wants to do that for you.

The lie is that we are overweight because we are failures. The devil will make us think that just as long and hard it was to put on weight, it will take a tremendous amount of effort to get off the weight. That is like saying God can't set you free of something instantly, and God can.

Where is started:
My wife had a word from God. God said to her, Tell your body in my name to release the weight. She was to speak over my body, and hers. That was a couple weeks ago, so I wondered if any other minister had heard about this. I found Thomas Fischer on Youtube. God told him the same thing. I weighed myself, then I spoke over my body, fat cells you have to go, go. Went back to weigh myself, and 5 pounds gone. It takes two weeks to loose 5 pounds.

I thought OK, God is going to help me, and why not 40 pounds? The Lord spoke to me though, he said if He did that, then He would have to heal my body of shock, but His power will drop the pounds, and power to avoid what I am not suppose to be eating. The next day, 2 more pounds, then another. Well, Praise God, I learned something new. Weight Gain is just another way the devil tries to kill us, and makes us feel condemned and powerless. We can be free of that, I am experiencing it myself.

Get back with me after you get this sown in, we can agree together, and it will be done, it will be amazing.

I can well believe that weight gain is a bondage. When I tried to lose weight by dieting, I got low blood pressure when I was sleeping. My body shed too much water when I was on a diet, which didn't leave enough volume to keep my sleeping BP up. I had to drink salt water, usually with some food, before I could sleep normally.

Heal my BP, and set me free from excessive weight Lord Jesus.

Your absolutely right Mike, I personally need to step up my faith. That's quite the testimony you have there. I don't know about losing weight but, if God will's it then I won't complain.

I just need to remember the OP when my wheelchair bound friend is in need. I know in Jesus name everything is possible. I just wish I could keep a sound mind when attacks happen. Praying for that.

I agree, fat cells melt, Blood pressure come down, in Jesus name with my Brother in you Lord. That two touch and agree on anything, You promised in your Word it will be done.

Lord, by the Holy Spirit, give to my Brother what to eat, what not to eat, he will just know, it will just occur to him and the strength to follow it, being easy.

The Lord showed me He will get involved in weight loss, and told me only veggies, lots of water, and a little protein. Absolutely no bread, sugar, or artificial sweeteners. Now there has to be direction and grace to do that, but I am also on a time frame and have to pass a DOT Physical in 2 weeks. My BP was way to high, but when I loose weight it goes to normal again and that is my Goal.

Don't try to follow my instructions, take your time but continue to thank the Lord for fat just leaving your body, your body functioning as it should and from now on, if your about to eat something you should not, you will know inside. Practice listening to that, and walking away.

Since I agreed with you in Jesus name, we are promised that help is here and it's done.

Mat_18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

I expect to be a bit lighter when I wake up in the mornings, I expect to continue loosing weight. Expecting and Hope, knowing you are getting the help.

It will be in your heart what to eat, don't violate that, you will see.

If you watch Thomas Fischer and I have, I love the guy now. He has a video where He says he only addresses certain sickness and pains. He tells us some things He has not seen healed. I have seen the Lord drop 8 pounds off me in 2 days. I have a witness, and I have double checked the scales. That may sound amazing, but it's really just more of my understanding of How much God loves us and wants to get involved. Cancer, no problem, Weight loss? New to me. I would like the 50 pounds gone overnight, but the point is the Lord showing me he can and will and it's not an issue for him.

There would be no need to trust in God if we just snapped our fingers and BAM, things instantly every time. You normally only see that when something needs turned around quickly and only in the unsaved. As believers, we need to ............. Well........... Believe.

Wheelchair? It would be nice to pull people out of Wheel chairs. Thomas Fischer in a video talks about his faith, and he is learning. He said he does not yet have the faith for that.

Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith, and it starts with us. Believe with us in the prayer above, tell your body to shed the weight and any demonic oppression to keep weight on you to leave in Jesus name. Then ask the Lord to show you how this works, and help your faith.

The Lord will help you get the weight off, and Keep your faith on that, keep expecting, say I am loosing weight supernaturally, fat cells are being broken down and removed from my body in Jesus name, I am the temple of God, and will not have it destroyed by extra weight. I will speak over my body and be a good steward of my body. The Lord loves me, and is helping me.

Once that becomes real, and you see the weight drop, then you get to thinking about the guy in the wheelchair.

This is where I started, and the Lord has done amazing things through me for others. It all started in a jail cell though, and I had a large lump growing on the back of my neck. It was a struggle, but I was determined to believe God through it.

Jesus said, All authority in heaven and earth has been given unto me.
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
(Mat 28:18)
Everything that the Father has is Mine. That is what I meant when I said that He [the Spirit] will take the things that are Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you.
(Joh 16:15)

Jesus took all that power and authority and said here, have it. I give you my name.

There is so much to learn, but it starts with us, lets believe God for something, lets get started.

Well, if the pain is caused by the bone disease, then that needs to go. We don't ask the Lord to carry HALF the burden, we cast the whole care over to him.

And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot. And he shot. And he said, The arrow of the LORD'S deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria: for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou have consumed them. And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed. And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.
(2Ki 13:17-19)

The arrows represented the number of times of deliverance, the king should have beat the ground with them until he could no longer since that is what it represented. If the Lord said bucket will pour money the number of times you pour, then I am pouring until I can't lift my hands any longer.

We need to expect whole deliverance, not just enough to bare through. Lots of the Lord's people will only accept just enough to get through each day.

I use the word luck as sort of a......... "Have all the unbelief you want" like an insult almost as I don't believe in Luke, or happened by chance. The world around you is filled with spirits pulling that way and this way.

Every attempt of mine before fizzled out in no time. That verse in the Bible about men who loved their bellies as their god was written for me. I asked the Lord to get involved this time, saying that I wish to dedicate this temple of sloth and gluttony as a sacrifice to Him that He might make it a suitable temple for His Spirit.

The way I look at food changed entirely. He revealed a truth to me, that the lust of the belly inflames all other lusts, and to conquer hunger appetite is to conquer the appetites of lust, they are intricately connected. A fasted body leads to a stronger spiritual defense and a quicker mind. To leave the table a little peckish and to endure labors leaves little room for us to be subdued by physical lusts.

The picture above is the result of 60 days of dieting alone. I believe in faith that by His grace helping me, I will lose 100 pounds by January or so... if it goes at this rate, probably even sooner. I see food as sustenance now, a gift from God, something to nourish me and fuel me, not something for me to abuse or make an idol of. Binge eating, emotional eating, boredom eating, all of these things are gone and passed away. I will come refined in mind, body and in spirit, and I believe that is what God intends for us, to be healthy in all these ways. By His stripes He has paid for it!

I agree with Brother Mike that it is a great lie that it's hard work to lose weight. It has been effortless. All that has been required of me has been to say YES to God and no to my appetite.

Glory to God, this post made my day!!! To be honest, I thought weight loss was something we had to trudge through with no Help from God, because we are the ones who made ourselves fat, and should have to in a way suffer for it. You caught on to this a lot quicker than I did, and I believe in healing.

Thank you so much for sharing this and your insight. It is true, if you fill your belly constantly, it makes you dull to hearing the Spirit of God. God wants to help us, and will empower us to say no to food we should not be eating, and cause our bodies to burn fat as they should, and at a faster rate.

I agree with you, in Jesus name, 100 pounds by January or sooner. Now if we agree, it's done, it would be impossible not to happen, and not only that. When your about to give in to a pop, or something you should not be putting in your temple, you will have no choice but to say no!! That pop is not worth how I will feel, and not worth my goal. Power will be there that you fail not.

Keep us updated, now Michael, you and I agree.............. wow, the power of the Written Word. Lord teach us how powerful agreement is, and how powerful your word always is true.

What stopped me in the past was low blood pressure when I was sleeping, brought on by fluid loss and slowed metabolism caused by dieting.

As long as my blood circulation stays good enough to bring adequate oxygen to my tissues when I am sleeping, I should be able to achieve a better weight. My sleeping circulation is the help I need most from the Lord on this diet.

Keep in mind what you eat. You can eat tons of meat that does not turn into blood sugar and loose lots of weight. Carbs are bad, bad, bad.
Carrots, peas, onions also turn to blood sugars.

We are believing that fat is being dissolved and coming off our body. We are also believing that before you eat something, you will know inside if your suppose to eat it. The Lord will check you.

Circulation be fine, body work as God intended.

The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
(Psa 138:8)

Bring this scripture to the Lord's remembrance, and speak it over your body, and ask the Lord to show you how powerful his Word is.

The victory is yours.

One scripture got a women I know healed of schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder. 1,200 worth a meds a month. She was a mess when I met her. I had her write down ............ "God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love and SOUND MIND."

She kept it in her pocket for 6 months and said it to herself constantly. One day she was going back to the doctor to get checked up and redo her medications, and as she sat there, she said something came over her and rang inside her real loud...... "I said, you have a sound Mind."

She said it was like a light came on and a echo inside her, and she just knew she was no longer mentally ill. Something they said she would be on meds for the rest of her life.

So, when the doctor called her in, she told him I am done, I am no longer in need of medication. So the Doctor had to ween her off one med so her body would not go into shock with withdraws.

That was in 2000, she is married, has kids, teaching school and teaches bible classes. She shares what one Word from God can change, and her continually focusing on it. wife just talked with her a couple weeks ago.
