[__ Prayer __] Miranda, the dog

My parents' dog is named Miranda. She's all of 9.5lbs. She broke her leg today, jumping off the steps out back :-( .

My parents have taken her to an animal hospital and all that. Please pray that she heals up and everything goes smoothly. She's older (10 or 11 years old), so I'm kind of concerned that she may not heal as well. Pain is also an issue. Oh, and being picked on by the other dog. He's another house dog...name is Sebastian.

...not a broken leg (Praise God!). Some kind of ligament problem. Not good, but not as bad as a broken leg. She has liquid anti-inflammatory meds and pain killers. They taped up the affected area.

Prayers for Miranda's complete healing, Christ_empowered . Ligaments (any soft tissue, really) takes about the same amount of time for a broken bone to heal....sometimes, they take longer than a broken bone.

She's feisty as ever...she was just barking at me for her treats (I'm the only one in the house who will give her a whole treat, not 1/2 of one). Ugh. I shouldn't spoil her so, but...I can't help myself.

The soft tissue issue is true for humans as well.

As for the dog treats... read the package to see how many calories are in each treat. If each has more than 3 calories, be sure to only give half. Keeping an eye on the extra calories is important to her healing right now.

feisty. She goes into tizzy when she wants a treat. Last night, I was saying "freak out, Miranda," because when I say that she goes crazy...my mom told me to cool it, because she's gotten older and all. Anyway...

she seems good to go. I know dogs aren't big on showing pain and all, but she's up, moving, feisty, etc. My parents have liquid pain meds and such that they give her, so that (hopefully) helps. Thanks for asking.
