model prayer /Lord prayer

I agree with all of this as I said prayer is simply talking to God, but first what did you have to do before you came to the throne of grace,
Obey the gospel. And obeying the gospel does not include prayer. One has to hear, believe, confess, repent, and be baptized in order for their sins to be removed and then and only then can they approach the throne of grace and pray….My father who art in heaven.
you had to confess you are a sinner
Why do people keep regurgitating this nonsense. Where does the Bible EVER say you have to confess you are a sinner? You just posted Rom 10;9,10. Does it say that? NO! It says confess with mouth “the Lord Jesus”. Did it say….confess in prayer that you are a sinner? No! I dont see that so where did you get it? You like Rom 10 but then you give me something totally different.
and then pray/talk to God as you humble your heart before Him as you repent and ask forgiveness asking Him to be your Lord and Savior. This is the beginning of salvation that has come to you through Christ Jesus.
No passages with any of that? Why? BECAUSE YOU MADE IT UP! Its not in the Bible! And you call that humility. So now humility must be….God im going to do, for salvation, what I want to do and I really dont care that you said that sins (salvation) happens when you are baptized in water. Mk 16:16, acts 2:38, 22:16, Rom 6:3,4, Col 2:11-13, 1 Pet 3:21.
Doesn’t the Bible say…..God doesn’t hear sinners? Jn 9:31. If so then how is a sinner gonna pray for forgiveness while they are still in their sins?

Ok. and which post of mine did you delete that says “i made judgmental Remarks”? I want to see it.
Its ok if people lie on this board telling people they can pray for salvation when God NEVER said that? Do you ever delete those lying post? I doubt it since some of them come from you.

Please go back and read the OP and give your answer to the posters question as this is all this thread needs to be about. Anymore derailing will cause your replies to be deleted as being of topic.

I did answer, the prayer( topic) is replaced by the Spirit in us. The topic is without this knowledge. Now the Kingdom has come, who prays for that instead of showing belief in it, through no longer sinning against others.( before the righteousness of the Kingdom of Heaven was in man.)

Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

The question in the beginning of the OP was "do you consider this THE Lord prayer or the model prayer".

This prayer is not replaced by the Spirit in us, but stands for all time as in Matthew 6:9-15 Jesus is teaching us how to pray after this manner of what we call The Lord's Prayer vs. 9-15. As a child of God we do not have to pray for our needs as God already knows what is best for us and we only need to trust in that for our wellbeing here on earth. Every word that is written in that prayer is the manner in which we pray and should never be repetitious.

Mat 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Mat 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
Mat 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Mat 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Mat 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Mat 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Mat 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.
Mat 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Mat 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Mat 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
Mat 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

You can go back to my post #5 to see how I broke it down as this is all we need to pray. In all things God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven, all we have to do is believe and trust in Him for all our needs.

I never deleted any of your post for making judgmental remarks. I deleted them for being off topic. Go back and read my post #27 and 34.

Thats not what it said it said…..deleted. Reason: for making judgmental remarks against another member. So Im curious what I said that was so wrongly judgmental?

The Lords Kingdom has come, and that is why Jesus taught us how to pray, because before His Kingdom had come( to be in us through His Spirit) we did not know how to pray and never could, until that same Spirit of Christ was in us.

Those who still sin against others, have a different kingdom in side of their heart.
