Nope. It's not fashionable because it's not the cultural norm here so looks odd, and is also a fashion of the culture of the people that we are fighting right now.
I agree with Jethro's assesment of that one. It's just too plain to be fashionable. Plain can look good, but this one isn't...striking.

Sure. this one doesn't even look like a wedding gown. More of a clubbing dress with a train added. It's not modest in the least and...is a sort of a mockery of marriage. Wedding gowns should be designed from the ground up to be a wedding gown. Modest, reverent, respectful. Designed to inspire visions of covenant relationship. She could cut that off above the knees and go clubbing in it, lol.
