latin from hebrew is also confusing. not that is bad just take it context.

go to jeromes vulgate and see what it sees.

or to the way older septugaint.

i can also post what the tanach says as i have a family tanach that was my grandparents and its from the oldest known hebrew text. called the masoretic text. it was written at the time of the lord and also the septuagaint while older isnt a literal translation from hebrew to greek.

both jews and most christians use the masoretic text.

You realize that you are gonna make me learn like 3 new languages. I cant help myself I dont trust other people's translations.

:toofunny greek for an english speaker takes well over twenty years to master so they say

hebrew is even more difficult as it doesnt have vowels and also has tenses that appear plural that arent.

ie elohim. the gods when it really means GOD depending on context of course. many christians think that word elohim means the trinity and it doesnt.

they err when they say the jews recite the shemah (hear o isreal our lord god is one) its a trinity thing. it too isnt.

Greek I've got prety much down(at least ancient, part of my degree requirements) but modern is a bit trickier, latin was harder for me due to the confusing grammar. Hebrew..... I've tried but MAN is it complex.
