[__ Prayer __] my birthday

I will be 31 tomorrow. Well...I guess in 3 hours, lol. I'm excited. I was supposed to be dead by 23, so this is kind of a big deal, lol.

The day itself is nothing too dramatic, too special. But...what a difference 1 year makes, at least with Christ. Over the past year, I've made all kindsa progress towards...well, in my case, normalcy, but also general spiritual growth. The people here have been a big part of that. Y'all put up with me writing things out as I figure them out, reflecting on things, so on and so forth. I appreciate it, I do.

I don't have any major insights or reflections upon 3-1. I just concluded another year I was never promised.. But the big thing isn't physical health (which I do appreciate, now) or even healed family relationships (which I definitely appreciate)...its forgiveness, isn't it?

So...thanks for all the input and insights and responses and...everything. And praise God...I've had 8 good years after my "expiration date."

:)

And can we mark this as a great leap forward. Let me see: a post without past experiences & failures, but of the realization of new life in Christ and its power of deliverance. Praise God, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY my brother. :)

Happy Birthday CE, hope you have a great day and all the best for the future. The challenges will always be out there and for the rest of your life ahead but you just a natural fighter. Keep your head up and never give up on your dreams and goals. Most importantly always keep God close.

The b-day festivities went well. Chocolate cake, ice cream, sushi...good times. My parents are so thoughtful...they gave me some pocket money and a Dunkin Donuts card.

My dad and I ate together for the first time in a long time. Usually, he and my mom eat upstairs. It was kind of awkward, but good, too.

I'm blessed that this my family is behind me. They have the time, money, and inclination to help me a in a big, big way. That's amazing, all things considered. Most people like me aren't even in society. Then again...God saves more than any of us know about.
