[__ Prayer __] My family (parents in particular)

Hey guys, recently it seems my parents are making the decision to finally go back to church. They found one that they like and are gonna check it out more. My parents and family as a whole aren't the most dedicated of Christians anymore, one of my brothers is agnostic. My dad has admitted that he has been stagnant in his walk and wants to get back to it, which is really exciting. My mom has had some bad experience with church and church people in general so she's a little reluctant. So, if you could, please pray that God will continue to work on my parents hearts to conform them more to His image, and His purpose for them as they move into this, and that this church will be kind, welcoming and friendly. Also, that my whole family may follow suit, and grow closer to God.

Praying that your parents and your family will find the best church with a good fellowship with others belivers. And receive the true gospel, and not to be fooled by false teaching.

I would recommend this: in ephesians letter there are two prayers. Find them, read them, for your family and for yourself.
Even everyday until you see that things are changing for the better. And also after.

That's very encouraging both your parents are longing for church again. In spite of your father drifting spiritually and your mother had a sour experience with sisters at another congregation, now they are both desiring the Lord's drawing them back into another fold. It's wonderful. Praying this new place of worship will be just what they are looking for. It's kind of been that way for me when I found this website by chance. That was love and acceptance. Was that mere circumstance? The Father knows. God bless you!
