Strengthening families through biblical principles.

I'd actually wager that the writers had at least a brief conversation on whether to say "Maker", or "God", or even to include such a line at all.IMO all I can see of that is only being a line written in the script without much consideration to who the true Maker (God) is. It's like many movies where they say "Thank God" but truly no Spiritual thought behind the words wrote for that particular scene.
Have you seen The Phantom Menace? If not you really wouldn't understand. You're going to have to explain that one, my friend.
It IS quite interesting that literally hundreds of movies often contain remarks or quotes of a Spiritual nature, or many times follow a Scriptural theme throughout the entire movie.I'd actually wager that the writers had at least a brief conversation on whether to say "Maker", or "God", or even to include such a line at all.
Big Lost geek here, too. Remember when Charlie dreamed about the Holy family?I caught that line by C3PO the first time I saw the film and just took it as a robot thanking the person who made him.
I'll admit I was a huge LOST fan. I mean, I was a real nerd about that show. The biblical theme of that entire show was startling at times. They were bold about it. Adam, Eve, Esau, Jacob, redemption, and story lines of good vs evil were so bold, they used to infuriate atheists on a discussion board I geeked out on.
Don't get me started! I'm serious! I'll not only derail your thread. I'll send the crazy train off the cliff.Big Lost geek here, too. Remember when Charlie dreamed about the Holy family?
Derail away. This was intended to be a more light-hearted thread. I think this forum has enough of the serious for a while.Don't get me started! I'm serious! I'll not only derail your thread. I'll send the crazy train off the cliff.
I remember that. And the cork in the bottle preventing evil from pouring out. And the episode entitled "3:16" with Ben's recounting of Thomas having to put his hand in Jesus' side.
Must... resist urge... to talk... L...
Ahem... As I was saying, I don't believe George Lukas had in mind anything besides a droid mentioning his maker.
