I know, random. Maybe childish. But my parents love their mutt and she has an ulcerated cornea. She's been to the normal vet and a specialist. I think, at this point, that her vision in that eye (left) may always be impaired. The bigger issue is that she's in a considerable amount of pain and can't go outside very much (she's a 9lbs wonder) because animals pick on little, wounded dogs.

Its really hard to be a 9lbs mutt in a big world, so please...pray :-)
 
Prayers are offered for your parents' dog, my friend.

Should the vet decide to take the damaged eye, the odds are in your dog's favor that all will be fine. My younger cat only has one eye. The other was ruptured at some point during his time as a homeless feline. He does just fine with the one eye.
 
I have no problem asking prayer for something dear to our loved ones. Many consider pets a regular part of their family, and receive great comfort with their presence.
