they're good people. i ask that you pray for their salvation and overall well-being. im kind of concerned that people -might- target my dad for termination. truth? officially retired, did 1 year full time post-retirement. now, he's part-time...he was and is an excellent employee, plus he's needed, for at least a while yet. I praise God for His love and kindness...dad ended his career on an unexpectedly high note, then officially called it a day right before the covid monster hit. thing is...
more political and cut throat than many work places, good thing he's officially outta there, amen. meanwhile...he's got retirement account coming in, has the option to go on social security, etc., but....
he's a good man. good father. hard worker, excellent employee. not really sure -why- people openly yell about 'we're gonna get (my dad's name) terminated from (place of employment) !," but...yeah. yeah. in terms of 'bottom line,' this is better than retirement account plus social security, so there's that. from a more emo standpoint...i don't want my dad squeezed out, terminated, etc. i mean, this part time thing is not permanent, anyway, and he doesn't even want to do his former (full time) job, now ('re-structuring' expert has made his position a lot more difficult to do, same amount of pay...new man is -frustrated-, already), but....
blah. 'hedge of protection,' please. thanks.
