See the thing is that I really don't know when I was saved, I just know that I am saved now. I was raised in the church, my parents took me to pray the sinner's prayer when I was six because I guess that's how they thought you were saved. But I can't remember a time where I didn't believe in God or believe that Jesus was my Lord and Savior.
I didn't really come to God and actively try to pursue Him and have fellowship with Him until I was 12. That's when I started reading The BIble and praying and everything. It was a very amazing experience because the only Bible verse I had known up until then was John 3:16. Reading the Bible for the first time is a fond memory of mine.
I joined these forums when I was 13 and continued to have a great relationship with God. But when I was 14 I came down horribly, I fell into lots of sin and basically had no fellowship with God throughout the year. When I was around 15 1/2, God really started to reveal my sin to me and I slowly but surely with help from the Holy Spirit repented of it. I'm now 16 and think I have a pretty good relationship with God. I struggle with sin and wrestle with desires to go back to my old life, but every time I've fallen I always turned back to God because He is truly what I want.
So that's it really, I don't know when I was truly saved. It was either when I was six, twelve, or just a few months ago really. But I guess it doesn't really matter, I know that I'm saved, that I have a relationship with God.
God Bless,
