Jerusalem is NOT Babylon nor is it described as such.
Not uncommen for you to contradict scripture smallville:
Peter uses the word "Babylon" to describe Jerusalem, where he lived, in a greeting at the end of his first epistle.
1 Peter 5:13 The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son.
It is FLAT OUT described by the name of ANOTHER CITY and ANOTHER country, SPIRITUALLY:
SODOM and EGYPT.
Yes, Jerusalem...with its abominations is compared with other dens of iniquity. There is no inconsistency there. None at all.
And no, not ALL of the SAINTS were slain therein EITHER.
Jesus tends to disagree:
Mat 23:35 That upon you [scribes and Pharisees in Jerusalem] may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
Shall we see how many times you can contradict scripture today smaller? Maybe you can set a world record?
Mornin' smaller!
