WoF must acknowledge that either Trophimus didn't have enough faith or that God does not heal everyone in this life. I find the first option rather absurd considering he was with Paul and he must have seen all sorts of miracles take place.

Who said Trophimus wasn't being healed?

This Word of Faith thread seems to have turned into a healing thread.
If this was the intention, I don't know.
But the Word of Faith movement is just as much about money, being wealthy in the name of Jesus.
Can we apply the same verses to getting money?
It is said that God wants us to have money so that we can serve him better.
Did anyone ever tell that to the Apostle Paul?
When James offered his advice to rich Christians, it was obvious that he wasn't one of them.
And the collections for the Church in Jerusalem, I would think they would have been the richest of all.
No, there is too many ifs, too much controversy, to see how it all comes together in perfect harmony with God's plan for us.
Romans 8:17;
"Now if we are children, then we are heirs---heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory".

Do we really want to share in his sufferings?

Romans 8:36;
"As it is written:
For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered".

Is this what we face when we sit back in our health and wealth lifestyles?

Read 2 Corinthians 11:23-29;

How does a lifestyle of suffering with Christ co-exist with the Word of Faith movement?
I don't see it.

Well, clearly he wasn't healed at the time Pal wrote the letter. According to WoF, we either have to believe that he and Paul didn't have enough faith, or that he simply didn't get prayed for, which would be rather odd.

All good points. You will notice that I have also previously given passages regarding these issues and had no response to them. There is just too much that goes against WoF theology.

Or that God was healing Him.

Healing is just that, a process of being healed.

Most healings take time, unless it's a spirit of infirmity, then it can be driven from the victim in Jesus name, with more instantaneous results.

If someone gets healed instantly of a life-long infirmity such as blindness, then it's more of a miracle.

God may have had wanted him to remain there and chose to heal him over time.

Never the less he could have been in the process of being healed.

Just sayin.
