cubanos? we have Mexicans, Haitians here for the most part. im not in Miami.we walk at lot. we have too. I also had to learn to read from right to left but say the numbers left to right. that isn't easy

j: Oh okay; I guess all a lot of folk outside Florida hear about is Miami Dade County....

(I'll bet the best sun is in Key West, mind...)

well if one can tolerate the crowd , that is a small island(key) with not much open space. not a place I like to visit.and its Metro Dade, not Miami Dade. my grandparents lived there till they passed on.

j: What have they changed the name? (I remember '00, and Katherine what's her name (Florida Sec. of State) and the recounts and Miami Dade this and so forth; I guess it stuck in my mind.)

Key West and the Everglades are where I'd like to visit some day, anyway. (Won't have to take my snow boots.)

the everglades extends up to the big lake in the middle of the state, it also did go all the way to kissime river to near Orlando at one time. my county being the head of st. johns river has a lot of marsh out west. blah key west. bunch of sin and debauchery.

Oh okay, Ms Harris, right. (Didn't she try to run for the Senate? but Jeb B. wouldn't support her.)

Well, I guess I would go to Key West to savor the sub-tropics, and to see the Truman Summer White House Museum, or whatever it's called these days...

yes, I have been through part of, I took us. 27 back to the big lake(Okeechobee) then another road to the interstate and back home. yes she did try and jeb didn't support her. uhm the entire state is in the sub tropics.

remember florida was mostly swamp when Ponce de leon explored it. we used the Spanish roads from Jupiter to st. augistine to dig ditches with since they blazed a good road for use. we have a road in my county that lines up with that old route its named ...
the King's Highway.that is what the Spaniards called it and the royality of spain would use that if they came to visit so I am told.

Atonement: Don't tell me that Mr Obama isn't too popular in TX... (Funnily enough, seem to remember that JFK wasn't too popular down there, either; he was probably more popular up here in Canada than in TX...)

Anyway, JFK would have been 94 in May 2013 (but I guess the TX weather hasn't changed much...)
