They are there (rev. 11) to prophesy and hand out wrath, not to enforce judicial law (of the land)!

If that were the case, they would not be referred to as Two "Witnesses" then. If they were merely "prophets" they would be called "prophets".

***Witness - (from Revelation 11:3)

a witness (literally (judicially) or figuratively - middle voice; to be adduced as a witness, i.e. (figuratively) to obtest (in affirmation or exhortation):--take to record, testify.

How could that possibly be Vic? You could not even commit blasphemy against the Holy Spirit until AFTER Pentecost Day. You could commit blasphemy against "the Son" (i.e. when He was present on Earth), but not the Holy Spirit. This could not possibly happen until AFTER Pentecost Day.
Simple; the Holy Spirit is part of the Godhead and existed prior to Pentecost. Pentecost ushered in the indwelling of the Spirit in men. You have to start with Mat 12:22 and read it in context. It is addressing a specific group of people; those witnessing the work of Jesus Himself and not attributing it to the Spirit but to the prince of the devils. No future tense is mentioned in the passage.

I and when Jesus returns and commences to perform these miracles again, then I will believe this sin is once again enforced. Until then, we have believers thinking that right now they can commit this sin and may believe they have already done so and that can be damaging to their faith. Ask yourself, have can a bought by the blood, redeemed soul speak out against visible miracles of Christ?

If you want to continue, shall I move these posts to the link above and thus, allow the OP's topic to continue? I really think we should let the topic move on and I apologize for bringing this up. Can we please continue this in the other thread?

If you want, but everything is kind of related here, so I don't see the need to move it. But I have no problems if you do.
