Hello

I am new to the site. I am a non-denominational christian. I was raised into the cristian faith from when I was young. When I was in high school I started to lose my faith...from the age of about 15-22. I was around a lot of friends that didn't have religion in there lives/families. I still have those friends but they do not influence me as much as they used to when I was younger.

Around 21 I had a son out of wedlock and later married and had daughter. Around the age of 22 I started to try to get my faith back...it was quite difficult. But know I am much stronger in my faith and enjoy it every day. I am more positive, happier, more content with what I have, and I am more loving to others.

I still have a big journey ahead of me to strengthen my faith. I sometimes come to questions that question my faith...usually science/social/media issues versus the bible. When those struggles come I will try to post to see if anyone can help me or have been through or thought about the same things.

One of the questions I have is, were the 7 days of creationism consecutive days? I ask this mainly because of the evidence of dinosaurs and man existing in such a different time. I know this is silly and it shouldn't matter, but these thoughts sometimes come into my mind.

Thanks
Aaron

Hi aaarneson, welcome to the site! :-)

About your science questions, we do have a "Christianity & Science" forum but you must ask permission from the moderators of that forum, agreeing to the rules of engagement before being allowed to post there. :thumb

With that said, I hope you enjoy your time here and find answers to your questions :wave

Welcome to the site :wave hope you enjoy it. :).

About your question, as Caroline said we do have a Science forum, and you will need to PM either Rick W or Free to gain access to post.

But my quick answer: I beleive that the days of creation were not literal, and there are Bible verses to suggest this. This would explain many things, including the dinasours. I beleive there could be a dinasour thread in either Science or Theology.

Hope you enjoy the site :).
