No More Miracles For America

People wonder why America is in such decline. The answer is simple for it is in the biblical verse Matthew 11:23-24.....

Matthew 11:23-24 New International Version (NIV)
23 And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted to the heavens? No, you will go down to Hades. For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Sodom, it would have remained to this day. 24 But I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you.”

Notice that Jesus, who is God become man, stated that no miracles were performed in Sodom or Gomorrah to try and save them. God purposely didn't try and change the hearts of those people in Sodom and Gomorrah who practiced and supported homosexuality.

When the Supreme Court legalized same sex marriage America became a de facto Sodom and Gomorrah therefore God will NOT do anymore miracles in America to try and save it from its own wickedness.


God's Anger Still Blazes Against Sodom and Gomorrah

It is a fact that Jesus Christ is God become man and during his ministry Jesus referenced the wickedness in Sodom and Gomorrah as well as the sinful inhabitants during Noah's time.

When Jesus references Sodom and Gomorrah it is with anger against their wickedness and not as a lost opportunity to turn their evil hearts to the praise and worship of God. And yet christians look at the evil of homosexuality as an opportunity to offer support and acceptance in order to change an evil heart to goodness, something that even God didn't attempt.

Sodom and Gomorrah - The First Attempt At Socialism

For centuries man has been trying to appease the wicked in order to tame them into civility. In the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, Lot, the only righteous man left in Sodom, offered his very own virgin daughters to a hostile crowd in an effort to appease them....but it only made them more violent.

Trying to appease a wicked crowd by satisfying their lusts will only make them more violent. Today governments and churches are doing exactly what Lot did (hint: socialism) and are offering an angry wicked crowd their very own virtue to try and quell the angry mob which has the effect of making them more violent and wicked.

Jesus walked away from an angry mob but Christians will stay put to try to be like Lot and will offer their innocence (hint: everything they own) to try and appease them. In the end the ravages of an angry wicked mob will result in total destruction and the righteous will have to flee into the wilderness (hint: suburbs) for protection.

It is not good that America has accepted the sins of S&G and made it ok.

But that's not going to stop God from doing miracles here. No way.

Lot ended up doing what he offered the angry mob....he ended up sleeping with his own daughters. Sure they got him drunk first but look at the result.

And as far as miracles go...the Bible we have is a miracle in and of itself. Hardly any recognize it as such but it is. So unless the Scriptures are going to be removed...

What is sure is the judgement that America faces. Double portion for those that know better and don't do better.

That was why Capernaum and Bethsaida were being warned. They had signs and wonders performed in their midst and yet they refused to believe. Read on to the official judgement given in the 13th chapter. (The Kingdom and Good News was going to be hidden from them)

That's heavy duty stuff right there.

I think for God's people (the followers of Jesus) there can always be miracles. But I tend to agree that the usa seems pretty determined to rush headlong into the pit (of dissolution and thus destruction)! The spiritual forces arrayed against her have gotten control (for some time now) of the educational system and media, including entertainment and advertising, etc, etc. It's actually, I think, a miracle when any one comes to faith in the Lord! Because the strongholds are pretty strong (strongly held).

Back in the 80's 2 Chronicles 7:14 (and praying it) was THE verse... I have to wonder why it didn't bear more fruit.. Maybe things were delayed a bit..? I know only things built on the Rock can stand.. the rest is built on sand and can only fall.. But maybe I shouldn't be so pessimistic! I am praying for the nation and the people..

God sent "righteous Lot" ( 2Pe 2:7) there to be a witness in the same manner as Abraham was a witness to the Canaanites. ANd they despised his witness.

That is a conclusion beyond logic. Miracles still happen in the USA but most often among the poor and lost rather than the fat and happy singing "Bless me Lord" min their stained-glass foxholes.

Socialism is an economic system. Appeasing the crowd is what all politicians do to get votes.
Lot was following the requirements of hospitality of that day and place. He was protecting the visitors whom he had taken in to his house even at the risk of loosing both his daughters.

Jesus walked away from a mob that was going to stone Him because it was not yet His time to die and being stoned was the wrong manner of death for Him. He had to be "lifted up" on the cross.
I don't know of any Christians who will offer everything they own to appease an angry mob. Many of my Christian friends own guns and are willing to defend their family and neighbors from "angry mobs" like the Koreans in L.A. did during the "Rodney King riots" by forming a neighborhood militia and patrolling the streets under arms. No mobs bothered them.

God in Christ has not changed His Stripes one iota since day 1 of man.

God condemns sin in the flesh. Romans 8:3.

All people have the condition. Romans 3:9, Gal. 3:22.

What you decry in the opening post IS the Activity of God, dealing adversely with sin indwelling the flesh. It's one of the more obscure matters of scripture, to see the Living Word making sin utterly SINFUL. Romans 7:13, 1 Cor. 15:56.

The Active Working of God in the INVERSE happens continually on the earth and will til the end, and yes, it is an Inverse Miracle of God Himself.

Believers who only want to see the good stuff are wasting their time looking. Gods Active Intentions are in fact, the opposite.

Observe what happened to the people of Israel and their nation to see what happens where The Word is sown. Mark 4:15.

All of these matters are preparations for final judgments of the adverse kinds which we ourselves should be standing FIRST in line for, IF we have the hope of getting rid of our own sinful flesh and the CHANGE that is Promised to come.

To do that is to STAND IN LINE FOR JUDGMENT. Phil. 3:21

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Rather than pushing the homosexuals or the wicked judges to the front of the judgment line, we should rather be doing the opposite.

All this "oh me oh my" look at what the sinners are doing is a waste of time. Sinful flesh is NOT going to obey or be legal. It's not even possible.

It is WE who have sin dwelling in our own flesh that we should look to God to CHANGE.

That day, of CHANGE, will be a day of DARKNESS for us all. And that is where this thing is headed, if we are LOOKING.

Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! to what end is it for you? the day of the Lord is darkness, and not light.

We should be repenting of our negligence in keeping God's command to love one another and our neighbors so that the lost would experience the love of God flowing through us to them.
When a lost sinner meets a Christian, does he fall in love with Jesus?
If not, why not?
What does he encounter? "The Church Lady"? A Pollyanna? A do-gooder? The love of Christ poured out?
Are we making disciples or check-writing tithers financing an even bigger stained-glass foxhole in which to hold our mutual admiration society meetings?

It is WE who have sin dwelling in our own flesh that we should look to God to CHANGE.

You've posted some scriptures which you apparently imagine will make what's in your mind evident to people other than yourself but that's not a definition.
