hey, my name is Alex and i discovered this forum on my tablet. im very happy to join and get my opinion out there!
first id like to say that while being a teen and being young i do know quite a bit about life, im not going to go through the entire story but, i am gay yes. i recently connected with an old teacher of mine at my old private christian school who turns out is gay as well. we both talked and she has helped me realize that while i may be gay God loves me regardless. If i live for him he can help me through my struggle. so i have dedicated my life to him and i will remain single.
i would like to offer some advice to any christian not sure of how to handle gay and lesbians. for one i cant stand the word homosexual it just sound weird and everyone had adopted gay as the meaning for that.
Please please when you talk to any gay or lesbian person act and think and talk out of love not hate and slander. this is the biggest problem with a lot of gay people and Christians is that the Christians want to be hateful and judgmental, gay people get that enough so give it a break regardless of what your thoughts are on the issue. show them verses in the bible show them how Jesus loves everyone. it will make the course of the conversation run so much smoother.
i just felt i needed to say this because it is a big deal and its splitting the church even right now.
