So an old friend of mine is in the Hospital. She had some sort of an operation and is recovering...and having some sort of complications. I had a hard time understanding her because they have her so doped up, but I caught the gist of it, complications. Sigh. So I thought to ask all of you prayer warriors to send up a prayer for her if you would please. Her name is Bonnie, and she is a sister in Christ, back in Ohio.

I really do not know the details like I said, but I anticipate to learn more within a day or three when she can speak more coherently. God knows the details though, praise the Lord for that. :)

:pray

Thank you in advance brothers and sisters...

Thank you so much sister!

Brother Edward, it is a pleasure to take Bonnie before our Father in her time of need. May she be raised up in victory over whatever trial she is facing to His glory in our Savior Jesus' name. Amen.

Allright Eugene! Thank you brother!

Praise the Lord for his good prayer team here on this board :)

O Father, In The Name of Jesus, Coming before Your Throne of Grace, I ask You to heal all our sister's complications.

Praying right now for her. Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up our dear sister Bonnie. Only you know the complications and physical issues she faces. We pray right now for your healing touch to come over her body and heal her body, mind, and soul. In Jesus name, amen.

Hey old Buddy, you know I'll pray for Bonnie. When I post my reply I'll seek Jesus, our Great Physician.

Ah, thank you brothers and sisters! Bless you all! The update is that she began getting better right away and the complications are essentially gone. they have kept her in the hospital for a few extra days for observation but the prayers have obviously helped our sister. praise the Lord!

:sohappy That is good news Ed, praise the Lord for His power over sickness and disease. It excites us all to keep praying for the sick....I was asked, one time, "Why should I pray for the sick? God doesn't heal most of the time". I replied, Sometimes God answers my prayer for healing, sometimes the answer is no. Because I never know, and because I have seen the answer of yes, I keep on praying."

That's right, Brother. We do know that it is Gods will to heal us. It is very plainly in scripture. Luke 5:12 thereabouts when the leper came to Jesus, he asked Him, Lord if thou will...thou can make me clean. That's asking if it is His will and declaring that he knew that He could do it, if it were His will to do so. What was Jesus reply? "I will" period. The Lord does not change. So there you have it. Plain as day.

It is curious as to why, sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't. It is His will to, but there's something else, even aside from faith I believe. The Lord reset my dislocated hip bone one night for me, I posted about that here, but he hasn't healed my back for me yet. So it's not a faith issue. I don't see me having enough faith to receive healing on my leg, but not on my back. Doesn't add up. So it would be some sort of breakthrough about something that needs to take place. But what?

A Pastor in a video sermon said the same thing once. He was giving testimony about two Angels which showed up at a church service for healing within the congregation one time. One went near the pulpit and a pool of water appeared on the floor. The Angel told the Pastor that the pool was 'similar to' a pool of Bethesda and those that needed certain types of healing should come there, and the second Angel went to the rear of the sanctuary and stood, and it was said that there is where the people should go that...(trying to remember)...have healing but need breakthrough into it somehow, or something like that. I should watch it again to get the quote right, but the word "breakthrough" was used. I did download the video.

If you have any thoughts on this, brother, I sure would like to hear them. :)

Blessings to all of you brothers and sisters. :pray

I have seen enough healing's to prompt me to always pray for the sick....That story sounds just like the Lord, to do something like that. There are some great testimonies of God's power at work.

Yes Sir, I agree. But what kind of breakthrough could we be talking about here? :confused

That would be a breakthrough of Christians who have forgot about how powerful Jesus can be in this age. Christians look at both Testaments and see the miracles of God but don't think He is doing those things today. When those angels showed up, it was to blast those thoughts away. God is still in the miracle business. They got a breakthrough in the refusal to believe in healing, miracles, and that God can put a pool right in front of their auditorium. Breakthrough? Well I guess!! I'll just bet those who witnessed the angels and the pool, went away all charged up about "is there anything too hard for God?"

That makes pretty good sense Brother...except for one thing. :thinking

Me. I know God is heavily into the miracles. I know that God is visiting people, translating people, healing all sorts of people and even raising the dead in this day and age. Perhaps more miracles going on now than was in biblical days (overall).

I talk about these things freely on this forum and I know that many if not most people do not agree with me. That's neither here nor there though, the point is, that I do not need a breakthrough into believing in miracles (I think). So (at least in my case), I think we're talking about a different kind of breakthrough.

What do you think Brother? Do you think I need a breakthrough of sorts? You hear me talk on here (well, read, lol) soo...I'm having a hard time grasping what I may need a personal breakthough into. I do want my back healed, and I know that He can do it, and even would, if only...

drawing a blank here.(it's probably something stupidly easy that my feeble little flesh mind isn't getting)
