Jesus clearly stated, "No person comes to the Father(God) except through me." In our pluralistic world many people want to ignore such words, but the bottom line is that only through faith in what Jesus did on the cross to take away our sins do we have any hope of heaven.

Don't forget the resurrection.
Jesus came to abolish death. (2Ti1:10)
He did so by becoming fully man (John 1:14), dying for our sins (1Cor 15:3) and raising from the dead so that all mankind may also be resurrected. (1Cor 15:52-57)

Jesus' death without His resurrection is an unfinished work.

Genesis 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

Think about this. Only one man, one man, out of all that were on the earth at that time found favor in God by Gods grace. Eight people were saved that day of the flood, Genesis 7:13.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Now, because of Noah and more importantly Gods grace can we all come to faith that is Christ Jesus as God calls us unto salvation.
