Opposing the death penalty.

I will bow out as well. I may have to, however, poke my brother on this. he is anti-death penalty.

Forgive me if I seem pompous, but I just care that souls see the grace Christ has shown me. I know that's not in my jurisdiction, but God's. I just see a lack of death penalty being more of a space of grace to accept the Gospel. I think someone would rather rot in jail to see Christ than take the death penalty to see hell.

life in jail can be torment to the muslim that is why many soldiers said don't execute maj nadal hassain. why? he wants that martyrdom. short? 20 years. often most skid row inmated die of natural causes before they are executed. like david gore whom was on death row from his conviction in 79 to his death in 2010. that is nearly my life time.

I am a soldier for Christ.
One of the works given me is to show separation of the world and Christ.
To do otherwise would be a failure on my part to serve Christ.
since we went there. uhm ok a couple of grey areas one of these I have done

1) planned parenthood is your customer they want your service, and it doesn't involve anything to do with killing the unborn.
2) the same is pays you via taxes and utilities.

when that was in my town I fit both, at one time then later the second one. debate away.

Go there and do your thing.
Hope you can get a word in without trouble.
Wear an "I love Jesus" pin on your lapel.
Improvise.
Pray first.
Let the Spirit lead you.
Don't worry about what other people think.
Love your enemies.
Serve God first and foremost.

I work for the government. I cant do that. if I do its a lawsuit from either the humanists organization or the aclu. separation of church and state. if im allowed then the jews, muslims must be allowed as well. on the paper route that I did give them a paper, I never saw them, just on Christmas they got a card.

For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. Mat 10:35

I don't think "church and state" was supposed to mean what it does now.

its a job,i don't work to proselytize , I would be fired. I know Christian business that have that as a rule. work first then witness on your time and dime. do you want a state religion? each state in the union of the 13 colonies had a state religion the constution's first amendment only applied(and second) to the federal government. do you really want a state demonation? meaning I can hire or fire if I was a catholic and you weren't and vice versa?

No. Freedom of religion is a constitutional right. Separation of church and state have nothing to do with the constitution. I am not saying that there should be a state religion! If a workplace robs you of your constitutional rights that is an unworthy place to work. I'd rather be fired than suppress the truth (Rm. 1:18).

what does the first amendment say? nothing about working for a non government entity right? this sight denies freedom of speech and it can why? because it not the government.which is better? to talk on and on about jesus, or work and be honest and work hard and not steal? I have been let go over this. im paid to work and read meters not to tell people about jesus. notice I didn't say I couldn't come back and talk to anyone. where ppl was is on an easy route.most of the 18 series routes are done under four hours. I could come back and then set up a place where neither me or them could be interefered with while talking. hmm its that easy.as a rule I don't talk much(no longer then I have too and no longer then a minute. im on the clock, the boss knows the time tween each read and the machine records when I enter my name and the time till I finish. each community I enter and the first read to the last read are recorded.

Well Jason, imo you are very correct in this statement. There is more to our witness than testifying with words. How we act as Christians is sometimes more important than words. It would be a terrible witness for Christ to be seen as stealing from our employer and if one works for any part of the government they would be seen as stealing from the taxpayers.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Your job denies your unconstitutional rights. I'm not saying you have to go to work to preach the Gospel. I'm saying it's clearly unconstitutional to prohibit your "free exercise thereof" to express your beliefs in the workplace. And even more wrong that you can get fired for doing so. This is why I work as little as possible to contribute to the American government. Because it's corrupt and run by satanic freemasonic rule. I'm not going to go as far as not paying taxes, but if the draft ever comes around again they can have fun playing hide and seek with me. I'm not fighting and killing innocent people for what I know is corruption.

No rights are being violated, that's just ridiculous. If you make a contract with an employer and agree to their rules then you abide by what you agreed to. If you don't want to then you don't take the job, no one is forcing you to take it.

Not violated. Robbed. Why would you work, as a Christian, at a job that takes away your religious rights?

No one is taking away anyone's religious rights. They just demand that one WORK for what they are being paid to do.
Now there are others that work with you, I don't want them throwing ALLAH in my face when I am at work. Therefore, I will respect their rights not to have to listen to me about Jesus.
When we are on our own time we are free to do and talk about what we will.

Well being fired for them was mentioned.

That's because they would be breaking the employment agreement they made when they took the job.
Maybe you can tell me why an employer should allow you to talk about the Lord on their time? If so you should be able to stand around and talk about anything, like football or whatever.

I do not oppose the death penalty because of God's commandment prior to the law that a person's blood shall be shed if they choose to shed the blood of another (Genesis 9:6). That being said, I do believe the death penalty is poorly implemented by humanity. As with many things, when we elected to have kings over us instead of God's control, we screwed it up.

Well it depends. Is the work able to get done? Or is it work that requires no communication?
