What a perfect spring day in New England to gather and worship our Lord and Savior on Palm Sunday, and remember His triumphal entry into Jerusalem. We had a wonderful procession into the sanctuary, which I'll post later when the pastor provides the video. In the meantime, below is another Methodist church Palm Sunday processional from an earlier year.
A few years ago, Laurel and I sat on the Mount of Olives near the Garden of Gethsemane. As we looked across the valley at the Golden Gate where Christ entered into Jerusalem, it was as if it was happening before my eyes, so vivid was the image. It is still as vivid today.
