Hi everyone, sitting here today on the west coast of Florida waiting for the hurricane that never came.
I wonder what it's like up in the panhandle?

I'm moving to Georgia?
Why you ask?
Moving to central Georgia to a little town called McRae.
It's up near the cotton fields and the peanut farms.
They have a prison.
That's my new ministry.
My wife is truly an evangelist.
I help her and support her and teach her when necessary.
But God has blessed her with the desire to reach out to everybody everywhere.
It is a gift from God.
So we'll be going to the prison and the juvenile hall and the courthouse, preaching the Word of God.

Don't know about a church yet.
We are on fire for the Lord and won't put up with anyone not dedicated to Jesus.
We'll start our own church if we have to.

I heard something very interesting the other day.
We were debating OSAS and Eternal Security and they insisted they could walk away from God with their free will.
I asked, "Once they get to heaven, do you still have free will to walk away from God?"
Boy, did they get mad and that was the end of the conversation.
They knew not what to say.

I suppose if you don't believe in Eternal Security, then you could walk away from God in heaven.
Afterall, the angels fell, why not man?
But Jesus said he'll make all things new.
I think he'll take control of this situation and not put us through trials twice.

It is for man to die once, and then the judgment.

I spoke with Jethro Bodine this past week.
He says he is doing well.
No mention of him coming back on the forum.

I guess there is a season for everything.

If asked, what is your favorite book in the Bible, how many would say Ecclesiastes?
And how many could then quote their favorite verse?

My pastor quoted that of all the born again Christians in my county, only 30% go to church.
He said we need to get the rest of them in church.
Sure enough, people are coming in one or two at a time every week.

God will give you your heart's desires.

No news is good news?
We had a big list of people on our prayer list in our prayer group that we hadn't heard from in a while.
We called them all up and found most of them were healed.
They didn't tell us?
Did they tell anyone?
They should have been shouting it from the rooftops and coming to church and giving a testimony for what God has done for them.

That's called putting God first.

Hi Allen. Wondering how you are going to go about the courthouse witnessing. I used to visit prison but never thought of the courthouse. Sounds exciting.

One thing I notice about this forum is that people here do come back and let you know how they are doing.

How many did Jesus heal and only one came back?? He asked where they were.

Tessa, my wife mostly with her girlfriend have been witnessing at the courthouse for years.
It is public ground, no problems.
People going in, people coming out, they are troubled and need support.
Ask them if they would like to pray.
Bring up Jesus and salvation in the prayer.
Ask them if they want Jesus.
If you've gone this far, the answer is usually yes.
Prepare to have some sort of literature to give them after you pray for their salvation with them.
Tell them to go to a Bible believing church.
Tell them about your church.
You'd be surprised how great
God will bless you.

oh man...i know McRae. you'll have your hands full, LOL. :-)

glad to read your thoughts. May God bless you, your wife, and your efforts.

This is wonderful. I want to do it, although I could probably only do once a week. But perhaps if there was a team of us every day would be covered. Will pray about this. Also will pray for both of you with your move to Georgia and finding or setting up a church.

Prison ministry is one of the greatest blessings God ever gave me within His calling me to teach His word. It was for a time and season and I do miss it. I don't know if you have taught in prisons before so make sure you are prayed up before you go in as that is very important. Keep your teaching simple and understandable so they can understand what you are saying as it's not beneficial to go over their heads by feeding them something they are not ready to receive. Just some advice.

God bless you and your wife on your move and what ever you set your hand to do in service to the Lord. :)

thank you

Moving north to the cotton fields of GA; I can't imagine. The fields are ripe for harvest - and utterly destroyed by storms.

It's not a good year. People need the Lord! God Bless your efforts
