Are you sure that you apply enough critical thinking about these things? I think it's mostly Christians who are anti-vaxxers, right? So do Christians have nothing better to do than to make stuff up? That don't make sense! Christians have a LOT of other better things to do on our agenda, and the enemies weapon is deception, so there's that.

Of course the government data is lying. It stands to reason. And a man's education is not complete without having digested the entirety of the scriptures.

IOW, you need to get suspicious of more. I think you put too much confidence in the system as a son of God.

Being suspicious is okay, as long as one is suspicious of the right things and in the right way. Unfortunately a fair number of conservatives, largely Christian, believe a number of things that just aren't true. There was a lot QAnon stuff believed by conservative Christians during your elections, just as many of those same people are believing what is likely a lot of QAnon stuff regarding the vaccines and COVID. It isn't so much that Christians are making stuff up, as someone is taking advantage of certain beliefs of conservative Christians to fuel conspiracy theories.

So, no, there is absolutely no way you or anyone else can claim that "of course the government data is lying." By definition, you cannot know whether that is actually true or not, and so that is to tell a falsehood and venture into the realm of conspiracy theory.

Critical thinking is necessary, but far too many these days really don't know how to do it or do it well.

How does critical thinking make you trust the government so much? Look at their track record, Lies, thievery, corruption and oh wait, the Bible says the same thing! Wiith all of the newish scientific advances and technology, why do they always use that newfound knowledge to build bigger and better bombs...while untold amounts of people are starving to death each year all over the planet? They could feed the world with the resources and technology available now. So it's a far reach to say they can be trusted even the littlest bit.

It should be known that 100 christian pastors wrote Mr. Johnson stating that they Refused to either close their houses of worship or demand a vaccine status certificate. The government could do their worst but they were not closing. Mr. Johnson was already in deep political trouble so instead of taking on the pastors, he opened, essentially freed, the whole nation. The courage of those brothers and sisters won freedom for the whole country. They didn’t believe the government’s fear campaign. Their numbers aren’t worse anymore than Sweden who never closed down. One of the interesting consquences is that the excess death rate for republicans became much higher than that of democrats during the pandemic. Apparently, vaccine denial was more common among republicans, and that denial killed many of them.

As of September 13, 2021, 52.8% of people in counties that voted for Biden were fully vaccinated compared to 39.9% of Trump counties, a 12.9 percentage point difference (Figure 1). While the rate of vaccination coverage has slowed in both county groups, the gap has widened over time

You apparently didn't read the data. From the report:

Taking that into account, the death rate for unvaccinated people remains significantly higher than it is for vaccinated and for boosted, once those figures are adjusted for age.

According to NCDHHS, unvaccinated people in mid-to-late July and early August were nearly 10 times more likely to die of COVID-19 than boosted people were.

Even a well educated carnally intelligent mind can not receive the spiritual perspective because that all is spiritually discerned. So I can see that there will be no meeting of the minds about this issue, lol!

Yeah, it's data from a lot of state statistics. BTW, it would be wrong to toss all republicans in that bin; many of them are vaccinated. Even Donald Trump strongly advised vaccination. And it's true that there are democrats who refused the vaccination. Those data are just trends, not a valid reflection on all republicans.

What do you mean the truth matters? In support of the world and it's data that you used? Or God. Maybe the data is true? (doubt it), but I have to doubt it and put my heart and my like completely surrendered to the Lord with zero dependance on anything of this world. The faith and trust goes to the Lord alone. God is the only truth, let's face that. Anything else falls short and you know it. SO essentially they make stuff like that for a couple reasons. He is the father of lies is one.
