I am not sure what Adam and Eve looked like. It is hard to see how they produced anyone other than their kind.
In my limited view it seems many people of different color and features and languages must of came when babel was destroyed by God and gave different languages and the people spread out in different areas. Each area they settled in needed different features imo.
so who can help me better understand how mankind became so varied ?

Don't fuss or judge me, lol.
But my belief,
God created male and female on the 6th day, of all races.
And it was good.
Then He placed the Christ seed in the garden, had no man to till the ground, a husbandman.
Adam and Eve, was from which the Christ seed would be born.
His story, history.
Mother of all living, through Christ, for God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
As you can see in Gen.5:2
Male and female created He them, and called their name Adam, mankind.
Then during the flood, Noah was told to take two of all flesh, took 2 of all animals, why not 2 of all races?
Of course there were 8 Adamic souls upon the Ark, the Christ seed.
Some say, as you, that they developed that way depending upon the region.
I just do not believe that dna changes like that.
For example:
You put an African American in Alaska, and live there for a long time, he will not change his color, nor his offspring, unless, they mix with another race, nor will he and his offspring get slanted eyes.
Just my belief, as why, how.....

Skin color and genetics are not so connected.some things are inherited but not done so in the genes.I'm not an expert

I would have to think the flood was not world wide,, in the strict since of killing all, it could have left some that were not important to the history that saves all who believe in Christ.

Yes, it could be that also, the flood not being world wide, or 2 of all flesh.
But, I really think God created all the races.
He likes variety.
Different kinds of dogs, snakes, cats, on and on.....
I do not mean it to be racist.
Christ died for all mankind.

Sorry Bill it must have went right over my head; I do not see an answer to my question in your post. I do not believe evolution had any play on different races of humans. At some point after the first day God made some men different than other men I do not see when he did, but for me it is not evolution that caused this difference. Hi Bill I do feel that God made mankind in different shapes and sizes and colors and different features. I may have misstated my question. I was not questioning if God made the differences but when did a man get slant eye or when did a man become white, black brown or red that sort of thing. It seemed to me it had to be after the flood if only 8 souls were saved.

From there you have people moving into Africa, out east into Asia, up into Europe, etc... Their languages developed over time, as well as their appearances. Those who lived in Africa became more dark skinned because of their environment (very sunny, and hot). Those who lived in Europe became more pale skinned (cloudy for most of the year, and relatively cooler).

I believe Adam and Eve were probably more akin in skin color to those who live in the Middle East as that is where they were created.

Think about the amount of time it took each group of people to have develop their current skin color (thousands of years). Contrast that with when the people you are identifying moved to those same regions (considerably less time), so their skin has not had the time to be conditioned for that climate.

yes I have been thinking along those lines. Now in my version after or along the way to where people were scattered God must have made the change in their appearance. I can not think living in a place made them change features or colors it had to be Gods works. I am not big on they evolved into those features or colors. Now I could have it all wrong so seeking others thoughts. I pretty much go along with you though.

The Bible makes it very clear that the human race is one race descended from Adam and Eve, that all are sinners, that all will die, that all face eternal separation from God, and that all need to be saved by grace through faith. See Romans 5.

As to the distinctions based upon geography, they would go back to the three sons of Noah and their descendants after the Flood and after the dispersion at Babel. What needs to be understood by Christians regarding the human race is stated in Acts 17:24-31:

God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

I agree with the 1 and 3 comment the second I do agree with but it still does not answer the question I asked.
