“Sound of Freedom,” a religious thriller led by “The Passion of the Christ” star Jim Caviezel, is becoming an unlikely box office savior. The faith-based movie about child sex trafficking has collected an impressive $40 million after six days of release.

“Sound of Freedom” opened last Tuesday, generating a mighty $14.2 million on the Independence Day holiday. The film picked up another $18.2 million between Friday and Sunday, enough to place third on domestic box office charts behind “Insidious: The Red Door” ($32.6 million) and “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” ($26.5 million). It’s playing in 2,850 North American theaters, a smaller footprint than “Insidious” and “Indiana Jones (3,188 theaters and 4,600 theaters, respectively).
 
We definitely do need to have a Talk about this. Something happened with R. Kelly, where the People who said things like “THOSE PARENTS GAVE HIM THOSE KIDS” and they seemed to hear that and kind of say to themselves, “I didn’t know you could do that”. And no one made a big deal about his Trial, it kind of like wasn’t as big of a thing as the Surviving R. Kelly Movie, and it almost seems like someone said, “If you don’t like it, you’re attacking Blackness”. And we do need to Talk about these kinds of things, the Trial should have been a Time to do that.

Probably the #SaveTheChildren January 6th stuff. I think if we talk about these things, we have to start to be more Honest with ourselves.

For example, Dr. Greer, he talks about Covert Government Projects he was a part of and calls the People keeping Secrets and that he didn’t ever see but knew were there, “Jack Booted Thugs” and he saw how the System Operated. I mean, if a Government Office gives the Contract to the Bidder that takes them to the Strip Club it might be Unethical maybe, but we’re also not surprised that this might work. Just talking about it makes sense, I’m sure it happens all the Time and I don’t even need to give examples. So like, who are those in the Military Industrial Complex? Because some are like Sasha Shulgin, some are worried about protecting Lives and things, but they may appear to be like any Criminal. Even the FBI knows that sometimes you have to be the big bad Wolf, or the Bad Guys don’t respect what you are. Like a “Fear brings more Respect than Love” stance, but these People do want to talk about things like Mushroom Trip Experiences, and Light Beings, and being Human, they want to like Smoke a Joint or whatever and relax, but like John Kennedy said after Smoking a few Joints, “What if Russia attacks us right now?!?”. And Dr. Greer is here making Movies that make them feel like ... and kind of shut them off from the Public.

We do need to talk about a lot of things though, there are about to be some things happening. There are some who I would say shouldn’t even get to like know who I am based on their like non-importance, who have made Decisions about me that like I’m like certain other People around Dallas, TX, or somewhere in Colorado.

Hi Riven

yes, the first human trafficking that we're made aware of is Joseph's brothers selling him into slavery to a caravan traveling to Egypt. I'm not denying that human trafficking exists, I'm denying that a lot of the evidence being used to support that it exists, and the depth of it's existence in society is pretty much overblown by a lot of these internet talking heads.

But look, if it's an important issue to you and you believe it's as deeply ingrained as some of these videos would propose, then get up and do something about it. Me, I'm for telling others about the knowledge of salvation through Jesus, God's Christ. If, in my regular goings about, I run into someone who is mistreating or mishandling others in this way, trust me, I'll be the first one to decry that that person repent and come to know Jesus.

I've read the book. It doesn't ever get any better from here on out.

There are more people trapped in modern day slavery and human trafficking than during the entire Atlantic slave trade. Human trafficking, like every injustice, should be important to every believer:

Pro 24:11 Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter.
Pro 24:12 If you say, “Behold, we did not know this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it, and will he not repay man according to his work? (ESV)

Pro 31:8 Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.
Pro 31:9 Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy. (NIV)

The Bible actually says a surprising amount about injustices.
 
Not to sound like a Marxist but…

This particular form of capitalism…neoliberalism is many nations at the very least austerity in others…plus the effects of increasing global interdependence…

Is a breeding ground for slavery of various sorts. Everything is a commodity! Sex and clothes and friends and domestic help and food and…

On and on. The increasing inequality and stratification are not helping the situation. More multi billionaires equals more prisons more homeless people and more slavery.

I agree that human trafficking is a huge problem. I think the insideos thing here is we have a grifter that is using the real problem to run a scam.

Tim Barret has a handful of companies that he claims are "non profits", but are not registered with the IRS. OuR seems to be the parent company that owns a Haiten for profit orphanage. Some other snti human traficking organization have come forward and stated that the the Tim's and Jim are doing more harm because they don't really have any plans for the kids they "rescue". Most end up right back into trafficking because the group just dumps them on their respective states and leave as soon as they get their photo oops.

Other organizations have also claimed that OUR and Tim are more focused on using Adrenichrome conspiracies to fundraise more then working about dismantling trafficking.

In short it's more about exploitingva real problem then helping.

I mean, you go with what you believe to be the truth, but I'm pretty sure that people anywhere in the world killing their children to drink their blood isn't a thing. It's another of the conspiracy theories that get people who like to think that every sensational thing they read is true. I try not to fall for such ghoulish fabrications.
