This thread proves that Christians strike out against the Word of God when it contradicts their own personal bias of their interpretation. When one is held accountable for their remarks or actions, they would rather strike out than handle the situation in a Christ-like manner.
It is a shame that believers must shame the name of Jesus Christ by their immature actions against the truth. The following Scriptures show why one should examine oneself against the Scripture, and not play the ole "attack the messenger" game.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? 6 But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. 2 Corinthians 13:5-6
19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. James 5:19-20
