Maybe we should both corner Reba and teach her a thing or two.
After all, she is a woman.
And that's theological, isn't it?
What shall we so graciously teach her first?
Hey zoom zoom, are you hiding under the blankets?
Don't be afraid of Reba.
Why she's just the sweetest lady in the world!
My pastor says the forty niners are of the devil. One small teachers aid story. a couple hours north of SF .. Back when the SF49 were playing football i was a classroom aid.. there is a group of kids that will never forget 7X7 = 49 ers
Fair weather fan, oh my.We have not watched one game this season... enough politics
You mean one that does not break down into a "I'm right", "No you not, I'm right" 'discussion'? Usually happens no later than the 3rd page.....that's when I leave.I've been edited and had things deleted and gotten little notes. All well deserved.
I've tried starting non CE and P threads but they don't go to far. If you think political discussion is difficult, try having a theological one.
I was just thinking the other day how sad it is that current events, and it's ugly cousin politics, gets so much attention and participation over and above spiritual topics in this forum. At this very moment, the top 7 threads being spoken about are all Current Events and Politics threads.
Two others were spoken about today along with five others from yesterday.
That's a total of 14 different threads in the Current Events and Politics forum going strong in the past 24 hours.
I think that many threads and all their responses out does the entire forum.
I think we are now a Current Events and Political Forum that adds a few Christian topics to try and create some kind of balance.
May as well add some Fantasy football and some Barbie doll talk to fill the voids.

I know a papa who farts a lot. yeah that one. real mature, lolWell intentioned Christians disagree on many things. Whenever someone says that the Holy Spirit spoke to them or taught them this or that, my spidey sense starts tingling. We're just not going to agree on every possible point in Christianity. Some disagreements are deal breakers (like who Jesus is) and some aren't (like the mode of baptism). And kJV only folks, God bless them, just make me shake my head. Have a chat about Hell and it will go to hell. Have a talk about eternal security and it will go six ways from Sunday. Add to that the level of maturity of some and you have a recipe for a soon to be closed thread.

Maybe, maybe not but you do look, right to be explosive, are you an IED? (facetious old fossil chuckles, turns around and slowly disappears into the Sea Fog of the Gulf Coast with his Tackle Box and Rod and Reel)Try having a theological discussion?
