I have read thye Love Chapter and that is not all it says, it says, men, die for your wives!

I was just thinking the other day how sad it is that current events, and it's ugly cousin politics, gets so much attention and participation over and above spiritual topics in this forum.

I agree, it is rather sad, and I would add rather disappointing in fact. But it is what it is, maybe we should ask ourselves why that is. Why are people more interested in current events and politics? Why are people more interested casting their stones at other peoples sins while forgiving their own? Why are those who call themselves Christians more interested in becoming Trump Apologists rather than seeking after the things that pertain to Christ? Maybe it is because they really aren't interest in knowing Christ. I have a thread in the Bible Study forum that shows how Jesus is the little horn from the book of Daniel, all from the scriptures, and yet not one single response; with very limited views.


So it is what it is, people love the things of this world more than they do the things of Christ. They hold a piece of knowledge from the scripture that says they are born again, and they claim it for themselves. But their fruits would suggest otherwise, for if they were truly born again, born of the Spirit, then they would seek after the things of the Spirit. They would seek after the things that pertain the kingdom of heaven (seek ye first) rather than the things of this world. They are not Spiritual, they are yet carnal.

Only Christ has a shot at heaven. That's why it's important that you stay attached to Him so you can go in with Him, just like how your own hand and foot goes with you everywhere you go.

At the resurrection of the just God will take one look at me and say, "what are you doing here"? And Christ is going to tell him, "it's okay......he's with me".

I put google in the left hand column and you know that being that specific rushes away Plausible Deniability. The Grumpy Old Fossil tugged at the Stingy Brimmed Fedora, already concealing his eye, and pulled it just a bit closer to his nose, turned saying, "Did you hear that...
