I believe the wise thing to do is to read and know the New Testament without Revelation and later one can begin a study of Revelation and always remember that none of what was found in the NT can be changed by what is found in Revelation. I see folks finding something in Revelation and coming up with a doctrine and using that doctrine to override what is found in other places in the NT.
Right. Many people are not well-versed enough in the scriptures as a whole when they tackle Revelation. Not only that, but many are not spiritually sound, also, when they read it and they tend to misinterpret wildly.
