Praise The Lord For Mismatched Socks...

My hubbies socks are all white and mine, when I do ware them, are all black and the same brand so when one goes missing they always match.

I was sixteen before we had running water in our house. When it rained we would take showers under the rain spout (yes, with clothes on LOL) as that was a treat, other than that we would heat water up on the stove and pour it in a basin and took baths in the pantry with a curtain closed. When we finally got running water and a bathroom it was a praise the Lord moment not having to use an outhouse anymore and yelling "I need some toilet paper" that the whole neighborhood could hear. :eek2

ROTFL!!! :hysterical :hysterical:hystericalYou know what? You just made my whole entire day with that last line. XDD!!

When I was young we had no running water either, had to carry buckets of water in the house, took bath in sink.
We had an outhouse also, I usually went beside of the outhouse, it blocked any view, lol.
It stunk and I was afraid something might bite me in the azz.
My poor mother, she had her hands full with 5 kids living like that.

We would get the occasional bee that would come in and you had to swat it back out. Our outhouse had a v cut into the top of the door and there was a plum tree outside. When anyone was in there, other than my parents, we would throw plums through the door. My mother contended with eight of us growing up.

BTW you always checked for spiders, LOL.
