[__ Prayer __] Pray for my depression, please.

I suffer from depression. I take my medication daily, but sometimes it just doesn't work. I get listless and apathetic, and I just want to be happy. Please pray for me for release of this illness and that God will intervene and help me.

To my precious sister in Christ AngelsAmongstUs, I am so happy to intervene to our Father of grace in your behalf. I truthfully do not know the reason one of us is afflicted with different manners of trials in our lives, and others don't, but God does, and He loves the both of us enough to have given Jesus for us. I truthfully believe in the following prescription to prayer told us in Heb 4:16, Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. You have a need and I've often thought it is the very needs we have that keep us close to God to meet them for us. You too are invited to go boldly before God as you are counted as the righteous member of Christ's body just as we read in James 5:16.

Dear Father, this dear sister is beyond the capability of lifting herself up by her bootstraps as it were, and I am calling on Your grace to receive her need as something that will lift her in faith as You heal her, and allow her to live the life that all of us would want. Please bless her this very day to know the true love You have for her, establish her path in the water of Your word, and allow her to understand Your special will for her future. Thank You Father, and I ask this in our Savior's name of Jesus. Amen.
