[__ Prayer __] pray for my enemies

I have a lot of them! LOL. I'm still a pariah in a southern area. Happens. I was fairly wretched as a teenager. As often happens, shrinks made things a lot worse....and I just got ever more degenerate and wretched as time progressed, until I was called to repentance (I don't know if everybody is called or if you can choose Christ, but I needed a miracle).

So...I've been praying for my enemies lately. And praying for forgiveness for not loving them as I should. Honestly, I can't blame them for despising me. I realize that now.

I'm hoping for peace with my enemies. I'm also praying that my time in oppression will come to an end. Last, but not least, I'm hoping that I can learn to genuinely love my enemies and move on.

I am having trouble forgiving 2 individuals who I know don't care for me, and say rather rude things. I don't know them personally, and I don't know why they don't like me.

It hurts my feelings.

I read today in the Bible that we can't just pray to forgive our enemies, we must pray that God would pour out his blessings on them. We are even to speak well of them!!!

I really hope that God leads you to a path of peace. He sees everything that is happening to you. Sometimes when we are really hurting it doesn't feel like God is there. He is testing our faith to see if we really love Him.

My heart aches for you and your situation.

I will be praying, and I will continue to pray.

I admit I don't love my enemies. I respect love and believe, like respect, it is earned.
Those who demonstrate a willingness to become my enemy, and I have but one, well, his family align with him by proxy, but that just makes for 4 in total, show me that they would only hold love for them in the same contempt as they hold me when they made first strike to be my enemy.

Do I pray for them anyway? Yes. And so far that truck hasn't found their address. :halo
