[__ Prayer __] pray this goes smoothly, please

I feel like I'm blogging, lol. OK. So, I've applied to Liberty. They should accept me and my credits, no problem. Here's the issue....

...when I was a teenager, I went to a different college, a state school. A shrink working for that state school got me hooked on Klonopin and sleeping pills (Ambien, Sonata). That helped push me into a downward spiral. When I tried to go back there at 23, I ended up having a Breakdown to end All Breakdowns and, like a JD Salinger novel or something, I ended up having intensive, involuntary ECT (!).

I managed to get the state medical board to investigate the doc who Rx'd the Klonopin. A good number of people got subpoenas, and none of them were (or are) too happy about it. I moved back home, my confidential info got spread all over, I freaked out, I sent off emails...

...I now have a misdemeanor for harassment because of those emails and the medical board investigation. I only got the misdemeanor because my parents a) bonded me out and b) got a good attorney. I could be a state mental hospital right now.

Now, Liberty needs those transcripts for me to go to school. I can't order them myself. Today was the deadline, but its apparently a "soft" deadline, so it doesn't really apply. Liberty already sent a check to my old school for the transcripts, but the transcripts still haven't arrived as of yet.

Ugh. I'm just concerned that the school will try to pull something on me, since I got their shrink (she's still working there) in trouble and nobody ever really liked me there, anyway.

Please pray :)

Prayers for all to work out in accordance to our Lord's will, my friend.

Question for you: Is it all that important to have the former school's credit hours to transfer to Liberty? True, you'd have to take more classes to make up the credit hours from before. But would it be devastating to not have the prior school's records sent?

If I remember right I think they require that.

Back a few decades ago, it wasn't required. But most returning students (and those who qualified for university courses while in high school) did so for the credit hours and GPA transfers. When my kids went off to university, it wasn't an issue. So it's entirely possible the rules have changed in the duration.
